Çalışmamızda fetal dönem boyunca insan fetuslarınde el ve ayak parametrelerinin belirlenmesi amaçlandı. Çalışma yaşları 9-40 gebelik haftası yaşı arasında değişen eksternal patolojisi ve anomalisi olmayan 161 (erkek:83, kiz:78) adet fetus üzerinde gerçekleştirildi. Fetuslar gestasyonel haftalara, aylara ve trimesterlere göre gruplandırıldı. Fetuslerde önce kranium çevresi, kranium genişliği ve bi-crista iliaca mesafesi belirlendi. Genel eksternal ölçümler alındıktan sonra bütün fetal materyallerin sag ve sol, üst ve alt ekstremitelerinde, el ve ayak parmaklarına ait ölçümler yapıldı. Alınan parametrelerin gestasyonel haftalara, aylara ve trimesterlere göre ortalamaları ve standart sapmaları belirlendi. Alınan bütün parametreler ve gestasyonel yaş arasında anlamlı ilişki vardı (p<0,001). Gestasyonel yaş ile CRL parametresi arasında en iyi derecede, 4. ayak parmağı parametresi arasında ise çok zayıf derecede ilişki saptandı (sırasıyla; r:0,974; r:0,121). Bütün parametrelerde cinsler arasında ve sag ve sol ölçümler arasında fark bulunamadı (p>0,05). Elde edilen tüm sonuçlar daha önce yapılan çalışmalarda verilen verilerle karsılaştırılarak tartışıldı. Çalışmamızda elde edilen verilerin ekstremiteler ile ilgili anomali, patoloji ve varyasyonların belirlenmesinde obstetri, perinatoloji, adli tip ve fetapatoloji gibi bilim dallarındaki çalışmalara, teşhis ve tedavilere katkıda bulunacağını ummaktayız. In this study, we aimed to identify the hand and foot development parameters in human fetuses during the fetal period. 161 fetuses (83 males and 78 females) were included in this study. The gestational age range was between 9-40 weeks and the fetuses have had no external pathology and anomaly. The fetuses were divided into subgroups according to gestational weeks, months and trimesters. Head circumference bi-parietal diameter and the distance between the iliac crests were measured. After the external measurements, hand and foot finger measurements were performed in right and left and in upper and lower extremities of fetuses. The means and standard deviations of the identified parameters have been calculated according to gestational weeks, months and trimesters. There was a significant correlation between the all parameters and gestational age (p<0,001). A relation in the best degree between gestational age and CRL parameter, but a relation in the weakest degree between gestational age and fourth foot finger parameter was detected (consecutively; r:0,974; r:0,12). However, there was no difference between the measurement of right and left extremities (p>0.05). All parameters were compared with the data of the previous studies and discussed. We hope that results of our study would contribute to the studies which will be conducted in other medical science such as obstetrics, perinatology, forensic medicine and fetapathology to find out anomalies, pathologies and variations regarding extremities in the future.
