Son yıllarda elektromanyetik dalgaların insan sağlığına zararlı etkileri önemli bir tartışma konusu olmuştur. İnternetin kablosuz ağ ile kullanımı her geçen gün hızlı bir şekilde artmakla birlikte günümüzde bu dalgaların insan sağlığına zararları olduğunu bildiren yayınlar vardır. Örneğin nöroendokrin sistem üzerine bir takım yan etkilerinin olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu çalışmada, 2.45 GHz dalga frekansında elektromanyetik alanın sıçan organizmasında oluşturduğu hormonal değişikliklerin ve testis dokusunda meydana gelen apoptozisin araştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Bu çalışmada 18 adet Wistar Albino türü erkek rat kullanıldı. Ratlar kafes kontrol (K), sham kontrol (S), manyetik alan (MA), olmak üzere, her grupta 6 hayvan bulunacak şekilde 3 gruba ayrıldı. MA grubundaki ratlar, 4 hafta boyunca günde 60 dakika 3,21 W/cm2 gücünde 2.45 GHz dalga frekansında EMA' a maruz bırakıldı. K grubu da aynı deney ortamında tutuldu, fakat manyetik alan uygulanmadı. Çalışmamızda elde ettiğimiz bulgulara göre; FSH ve LH hormonlarında kontrol grupları ve manyetik alan grubu arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark bulunmadı (p>0,05). Bunun aksine total testosteron ile Leydig hücre sayısı ve Johsen skorlama açısından yapılan istatistiki değerlendirmede anlamlı farklar bulundu (p<0,05). Bax geni ile Kaspaz-3 ve Kaspaz-8 enzimlerinin karşılaştırılması ile elde edilen Apoptozis sonuçlarına göre kontrol ve manyetik alan grubu arasında anlamlı bir fark bulundu(p<0,05). Sonuç olarak wireless cihazlarından yayılan EMA'nın sıçanların nöroendokrin sistemi ve testis dokusuna etkileri termal ve stres yoluyla olabilir. Ancak, bu konudaki fizyolojik ve morfolojik çalışmaların daha ileri düzeylerde yapılması gerekmektedir. Anahtar Kelimeler : Testis, Spermatogenez, Manyetik Alan, Apoptozis.
In recent years, the harmful effects of electromagnetic field to human health had become an important discussion subject. Internet wireless network usage has been quickly ascended with each passing day. Today there are some publication informing these harmful effects. For example detrimental side effects of this field on neuroendocrine system had been determined. The aim of this study is to investigate the hormonal changes and the apoptosis of cells belonging to testis tissue in rats exposured to electromagnetic field having 2.45 Ghz frequency. In this study 18 male Wistar albino rats were used. Rats were divided into 3 groups (Control, Sham control and Magnetic group) each including 6 individuals. Rats in MA group were exposed to 3,21 W/kg power and 2.45 Ghz Magnetic field 60 minutes every day during 4 weeks. Group K was also exposed to same conditions however magnetic field wasn't applied. According to the results of this experiment, FSH and LH hormone levels obtained from individuals belonging to Control and Magnetic field groups separetely weren't statistically meaningful (p>0,05). On the contrary Total Testosteron, Leydig cell number and Johnsen score are found meaningfully (p<0,05). After the comparation of Bax gene and Caspase-3, Caspase-8 enzymes obtained from the groups for apoptosis evaluation, the results were statistically meaningful (p<0,05). Consequently, the spreading of EMA from wireless devices may effect rat neuroendocrine system and testis tissue by the way of termal or stress.
