Isparta ilindeki otel işletmelerinde çalışanların iş doyumu ve tükenmişlik düzeyleri ile etkileyen etmenleri belirlemek amacıyla bu araştırma yapılmıştır. Isparta ilindeki 24 otelde çalışan 170 kişiye anket yapılarak uygulanan araştırma kesitsel ve nalitik tiptedir. Araştırmanın bağımlı değişkenleri otel çalışanlarının iş doyumu ve tükenmişlik düzeyidir. Bağımsız değişkenler ise yaş, cinsiyet, medeni durum, çocuk sahibi olup olmama durumu, çocuk sayısı, eğitim durumu, turizmle ilgili eğitimi alma durumu, işyerinde çalıştığı bölüm, mesleği, çalıştığı pozisyon, çalıştığı işyerindeki çalışma süresi, turizm sektöründe çalışmaya başlama yaşı, iş hayatındaki toplam çalışma süresi, günlük çalışma süresi, ücret, çalışma türü (sezonluk ya da sürekli), haftada çalıştığı gün sayısı, ek bir işe sahip olma durumu, ek bir gelire sahip olma durumu, iş değiştirmeyi isteme durumu, kronik bir hastalığı olma durumu, kaldığı yer, Isparta' da kaldığı süre, Isparta dışında yaşama durumu, sağlık durumu değerlendirme düzeyi, sigara, alkol kullanma durumudur. Araştırma sonucunda iş doyumu toplam puanı 111,38?25,49, genel tükenmişlik puanı 41,79?18,35 olarak bulundu. Duygusal tükenme ortalaması 14,21?8,29, Duyarsızlaşma boyutunda ortalama 5,72?4,73, Kişisel başarı boyutunda ortalama 21,86?5,33 olarak bulundu. Araştırma sonucunda; cinsiyet, medeni durum, çocuk sahibi olma durumu, günlük çalışma saati, çalışma türü, haftada çalıştığı gün sayısı, ücret, iş değiştirmeyi isteme durumunun iş doyumu düzeyini etkilediği bulundu. Tükenmişliği ise, eğitim durumu, çocuk sahibi olma durumu, turizmde çalışmaya başlama yaşı, daha önce başka işte çalışma durumu, sağlık durumu değerlendirme düzeyi, otel işletmesinin türü ve günlük çalışma saatinin etkilediği belirlendi. İş doyumu arttıkça tükenmişlik düzeyinin azaldığı saptandı. Tükenmişlik düzeyinin azaltılması için; otel çalışanlarının ücretinin arttırılması, günlük ve haftalık çalışma sürelerinin düzenlemesi ve eğitim durumuna göre yükselme fırsatı sağlanması uygun olacaktır. This research was carried out in order to determine the burnout level and job satisfaction of the workers, who work in hotel managements in Isparta, and the factors that affect these situations. The research,performed by making a survey on 170 workers in 24 hotels in Isparta, is cross-sectional and analytical typed. Dependent variables of the research are burnout level and job satisfaction of hotel workers. And independent variables are age, gender, marital status, the situation of having a child or not, Number of the children, educational background, education about tourism, the department worked in the office, the age of beginning to work in tourism, total working time in business life, working hour per day, wage, working period (seasonal or permanent), number of working days per week,having a side job or not, having a side income or not, want to change the job or not, having a chronical illness or not,accommodation, the period stayed in Isparta, living condition out of Isparta,assesment level of state of health and the usage of ciggarette of alcohol. As a result of the research, total point of job satisfaction was found as 111,38?25,49, and the general burnout level as 41,79?18,35. Average of sensitive burnout was 14,21?8,29. and the average in the level of desensitization was 5,72?4,73. The average in the level of personal success was found as 21,86?5,33. As a result of the research, it was found that having a baby or not, working hour per day, Number of working days in a week,wage, want to change the job affected the job satisfaction. And it was found that burnout was affected by educational background, gender, marital status, having a baby or not, the age of beginning to work in tourism, having worked in another job formerly, assesment level of state of health, type of hotel management and working hours per day. It was determined that the more job satisfaction increased, the more burnout level decreased. In order to decrease burnout level, increase in wages of hotel workers, regulation of daily and weekly working time and the promotion opportunity according to educational background would be effective.
