Çalışmamızda SDÜTF Acil Tıp Anabilim Dalına 01 Ocak-31 Aralık 2009 yılları arasında ekstremite kırığı ile başvuran tüm yaş grubu vakalar dahil edilmiştir. Çalışmaya alınan 404 hastanın 264.ü (%65) erkek, 140.ı (%35) kadın idi. Çalışmaya alınan hastaların ortalama yaşı 38,02ł26,25 yıl (1-96 yıl) olarak bulundu. En sık kırık görülen yaş grubu 0-10 (%19) yaş arasıdır. Hastaların geliş şikayeti incelendiğinde en sık ekstremitede ağrı-hareket kısıtlılığı (%98) ile acil servise başvurduğu görülmüştür.Acil servise kırık nedeniyle başvuran hastaların başvuru zamanı incelendiğinde en çok saat 16-20 arasında (%26) acil servise başvurduğu görülmüştür. Kırığın en çok ağustos ayında (%13,1), en az aralık ayında (%3,7), mevsim olarak da en çok yaz ayında (%34) oluştuğu görüldü. Kırıkların oluştuğu ortam olarak en sık evde (%31,2) oluştuğu saptanmıştır. Kırıkların oluş şekli değerlendirildiğinde en sık düşmelere bağlı olduğu saptanmıştır (%28,2). Kırıkların lokalizasyonu incelendiğinde en sık femur bölgesinde (%29) kırık görüldü. Çalışmaya alınan hastaların %91,7.sinde sadece ekstremite kırığı görülürken, %9,3.ünde kırıkla birlikte diğer vücut bölgelerinde ciddi travma bulguları saptanmıştır.Bu hasta grubunda kırığa en sık kafa travmasının (%25,7) eşlik ettiği görülmüştür. En sık geç başvuru sebebi hastanın şikayetlerinin artış göstermesi (%52) olarak saptandı.Yaş grupları ile kırık anatomik yerleri karşılaştırıldığında 0-20 yaş grubunda en çok ön kol bölgesi (%35), 20-40 yaş grubunda cruris bölgesi (%30), 60 yaş ve üzeri ise femur bölgesi kırıkları görülmüştür (%69). Yaş grupları ile kırık oluş sebebleri karşılaştırıldığında 0-10 yaş arası en sık kırık oluşturan sebep düşme, 11-20 yaş arası spor yaralanması, 20-40 yaş arası araç içi trafik kazası, 40-60 yaş arası düşme, 60 yaş ve üzeri düşme olarak saptanmıştır. Yaş guruplarına göre hastalara uygulanan tedavi sonuçları karşılaştırıldığında sadece 11-20 yaş aralığında konservatif tedavi ön plana çıkarken diğer tüm yaş gruplarında yatarak tedavinin ön plana çıktığını görmekteyiz. Hastaların tedavi sonuçlarına baktığımızda hastaların %56,7.si ortopedi servisine yatmış, %31,7.si ortopedi konsültasyonu istenerek konservatif yollarla tedavi edildiği görülmüştür.İnsanlar günlük yaşamlarını sürdürürken bir çok travmaya maruz kalırlar. Bazen bu travmalar neticesinde kemik kırıkları ortaya çıkmaktadır. Günümüzde kemik kırığı vakalarının sıklığında giderek artış görülmekte olup, acil servislere sık başvuru nedenlerindendir. Ülkemizde tüm yaş gruplarını içine alan kırı epidemiyolojisi ile ilgili çalışmalar son derece azdır. Bu çalışmamızla birlikte elde edilen sonuçların insanların maruz kaldığı travmaların dolayısıyla oluşan kırıkların azaltılmasına ve önlenmesine yönelik çalışmalarda önemli katkı sağlayacağı görüşündeyiz.

In our study all age groups admitted to SDUTF ED with extremity fractures between 01 January-31 December 2009 were included. Two hundered sixty four (65%) of the 404 patients in the study were male and 140 (35%) were female. The average age of the patients in the study was 38,02+/-26,25 (1.96 year). The most common fracture is between the age group 0 to 10 (19%). The most common complaints at patients admitted to the emergency room were limitation of the movement and pain of the extremity (98%). Patients with the fractures admitted to the emergency room examined, the most time of admission was referred to the emergency department between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM (26%). Most of the fracture in August (13.1%), at least in December (3,7%), was formed in the summer season (34%) also fractures most common occured at home (31.2%). Occur of the fractures examined, most common reason were falling (28.2%).Localization of the fractures were examined, most common fractures were at the femur (29%). 91.7% of the patients in the study cases had just extremity fractures, 9.3% with fractures had signs of severe trauma in other parts of the body, head trauma (25.7%) associated with fracture in this patient group was seen at most. The most common cause of late referral was the increase in complaints (52%). Age groups compared with anatomical regions, forearm region (35%) fractures mostly between 0-20 age group, cruris region (30%) fractures between 20-40 age group, femur region (69%) fractures were seen . 60 age group. Age groups compared with the fracture causes the most common caus between the ages of 0-10 from falling, 11-20 age group from sports injuries, motor vehicle accident between 20-40 years, 40-60 years from the falling, and above 60 years of age was found to be falling.The results of treatment compared to patients by age groups, in only 11-20 age group conservative treatment is forefront, in all other age groups hospitalized treatment become forefront. The results of treatments examined, 56,7% of the patients hospitalized to the orthopedy clinic, 32,7% of them were treated with conservativ methods via orthopedic consultation. A lots of people are exposed to trauma in daily lives. Some times as a result of these traumas, bone fractures occur. Gradually increase the frequency of cases of bone fracture is seen nowadays and they are common complaints in emergency services. There are very few studies in our country on fracture epidemiology involving all age groups. We believe the results obtained with our study will provide significant contribution to the studies to prevent and reduce the fractures of the people exposed to trauma.
