Children who work in any production sector or service sector as an employee are called .working child.. According to the 1.Article of the convention on children rights of the United Nations, each person until 18 is a child. Following the declaration of rights and principles of ILO for working, according to 2006 Global Report, in line with 2004 records, there are 1.5 billion children, 5-17 year old all over the world. 14.5%, namely 218 million of these children are in child labor statue and 126 of these children are working in hazardous occupations. As for all countries which have the problem of child labor, it is also important for our country. 2006 October, November, and December by the state institute of statistics, 5.9% of, 6-17 year old children are working in an economic job. Intended violence towards child or in other words, neglecting or abusing a child is type of sexual abuse, negligence or negligible treatment, economic or other exploitation on the child.s health, to maintain his living, to develop himself or responsibility to his honor, direct or possible harmful all kinds of physical and/or emotional mistreatment in connection with trust or power relations. As for workplace violence is undefined as, .During the circumstances related to the employee.s job, events that he/she is abused or attacked by a person or persons.. ILO, by not restricting the definition .workplace violence. with only physical behaviors, it is broadening it with psychological and passive behaviors. In 2000, 2% of the apprentices working in European Union countries, are exposed to violence by people working in the same workplace In the researches done in our country, 12-20% of all violence victims are 19 aged and below.
