The purpose of this research paper is to search effect of 12-week throwing the medicine ball practice on learning groundstroke skills and effects on performance improvements. In total, 32 male students who are members of Akdeniz University Tennis Student Community participated to this research. First group was (repetitive strength practice series) n:16 student, the average of age was 21,38±20,9 year, their average of length was 173,50±5,06 cm and their average weight was 75,94±4,57 kg. and second group was (repetitive classic practice) n:16 student, the average of age was 21,63±2,09 year, their average of length was 174,56±6,03 cm and their average weight was 77,13±5,63 kg. Training sessions has planned as 12 weeks and 3 days a week, each session has planned as 90 min; serial recurrent strength training (S.T.K.A.) and recurrent block training (K.T.A.)methods were applied. Right and Left Hand Grip Strength Test and Trainer Game Level Test (AOS) were applied in research.SPSS program was used while doing statistical analysis with obtained data from research. As a statistical process, paired t test was applied between dependent groups.A significant statistical difference which cannot be found (p>0,05) in the pretests of groups who have doneserial recurrent strength training (S.T.K.A.) andrecurrent block training(K.T.A.)was determined in final tests (p<0,05).According to obtained data from research, better skills and strength on groundstrokeswere caused byserial recurrent strength training (S.T.K.A.). Keywords : Tennis, Medicine Ball, AOS test.
