Son yıllarda teknolojinin hızla gelişmesi insanların elektrik ve manyetik alanlara maruziyetini arttırmaktadır. Yapılan deneysel çalışmalar, elektrik ve manyetik alanların değişik dokularda stres oluşturduğu ve organların fonksiyonlarını bozduğunu göstermiştir. Çalışmamızda 50 Hz elektrik alanın testis dokusu üzerinde oluşturduğu hasar ile resveratrolün koruyucu rolü araştırılmıştır.Çalışmada, toplam 32 adet 3 aylık erkek wistar albino sıçan kullanıldı. Deney grubundaki hayvanlar; 1. kontrol, 2. elektrik alan, 3. elektrik alan + resveratrol, 4. resveratrol olarak dört gruba ayrıldı. Kontrol grubuna gavaj ile serum fizyolojik verildi. Elektrik alan grubuna 50 Hz (10 kV/m) elektrik alan ve serum fizyolojik, elektrik alan + resveratrol grubuna 50 Hz elektrik alan + 20mg/kg/gün resveratrol, resveratrol grubuna ise sadece gavaj yoluyla 20mg/kg/gün resveratrol uygulandı. 30. günün sonunda sakrifiye edilen hayvanlardan; histopatolojik incelemeler için testis dokusu, sperm izolasyonu için epididim, biyokimyasal analizler için kan örnekleri alındı.Elektrik alan uygulanan grupta; vücut ağırlığında artış anlamlı (p=0.005), testis, epididim ağırlıklarında fark anlamlı değil. Sperm sayısı ve motilitede anlamlı derecede azalma (p<0.001), MDA değerinde artış, SOD, CAT, GPx aktiviteleri açısından fark anlamlı değil. Serum total testosteron değerinde anlamlı azalma, FSH, LH, E2, GH seviyeleri açısından fark anlamlı değil. Elektrik alan uygulanan grupta DNA hasarında fark istatistiksel olarak anlamlı (p<0.001). Elektrik alan uygulanan grupta histopatolojik bulgular kontrol grubuna göre anlamlı bulunmuştur (p<0.05).Elektrik alan+resveratrol grubunda elektrik alan grubuna göre leyding hücre sayısında, seminifer tübül çapında ve tunika albuginea kalınlığında artma, apoptotik hücre sayısında elektrik alana göre azalma tespit edildi.Elektrik alan uygulamasının testis dokusunda hasara neden olduğu, ancak 20 mg/kg/gün resveratrolün bu hasarı önlemede yeterli olmadığı belirlenmiştir. In recent years, the rapid development of technology increases the exposure to electric and magnetic fields on people. Experimental studies on electric and magnetic fields showed that create stress in different tissues and disrupt organs function. There were no studies in the literature showing any damage to the testis tissue of 50 Hz electric field. In our study, the protective role of resveratrol on the kidney damage caused by the 50 Hz electric field is investigated.A total of thirty two male Wistar albino rats (3-4 month old) were used in this study. These animals were separated into four groups; 1.control, 2.electric field, 3.electric field+resveratrol, 4. resveratrol. The control group was performed saline by gavage. 2. groups 50 Hz (10/kV/m) electric field and saline, 3. groups 50 Hz (10/kV/m) electric field and 20mg/kg/day resveratrol, 4. groups 20mg/kg/day resveratrol were performed. Resveratrol was administered by gavage to the animals.After 30 days from sacrificed animals was collected testicular tissue for histopathological examinations, epididymal sperm for insulation, and blood samples for biochemical analysis.The group applied electric field; significant increase in body weight (0.005), and testis, epididymis no significant difference in weight. And a significant decrease in sperm count, motility, MDA value increase, SOD, CAT, GPx activities are not significantly different. Significant reduction in the value of serum total testosterone, FSH, LH, E2, GH levels are not significantly different. DNA damage in the electric field applied in the group difference was statistically significant (p <0.001). The group applied electric field histopathological findings were significant compared to the control group (p <0.05). The electric field+resveratrol group, electric field according to groups the number of leydig cells, seminiferous tubules diameter and thickness increase in the tunica albuginea, a decrease was observed in the number of apoptotic cells compared to electricity.Histopathological changes in the testis tissues were found to occur with the electric field. 20 mg/kg/day resveratrol was determined to be sufficient to prevent this damage.
