Bu çalışmanın amacı; Titanyum ile kompozit rezin arasındaki bağlantı dayanım değerlerine farklı yüzey işlemlerinin etkisini araştırmaktır. Üç tip titanyum (Grade 2,4, Ti-6Al-4V) ile üç farklı yüzey pürüzlendirme işlemi test edilmiştir. Gereç ve yöntemler: 90 adet Titanyum disk 8 mm çapında ve 4 mm yükseklikte elde edildi. Titanyum yüzeyleri üç farklı metod ile pürüzlendirildi: 600 numara zımpara kağıdı (kontrol grubu), zımpara kağıdı ve 50 μm Alüminyum oksit kumlama, zımpara kağıdı ve tribokimyasal kumlama tekniği. Rezin kompozit, 4mm çapında ve 6 mm yükseklikte aşamalı olarak uygulandı ve polimerize edildi. Oda sıcaklığında distile suda bekletildikten sonra öneklerim bağlantı dayanımları değerlendirildi. Titanyum örneklerin yüzeyleri stereomikroskop ile incelendi. Sonuçlar: Kruskal-Wallis istatistiksel analiz metodu kullanılan çalışmamızda titanyum tipleri ve yüzey işlemleri arasında anlamlı farklılıklar bulundu (p<0.005). Al2O3 kumlama grubundaki örneklere göre yapılan analiz sonucu; Grade 5 Titanyum, Grade 4 ve Grade 2’ye göre anlamlı dercede yüksek değerler göstermiştir. Tribokimyasal kumlama grubundaki örneklere göre yapılan analiz sonucu; Grade 4 ve Grade 5’teki veriler Grade 2'ye göre yüksek bulunmuştur. Çalışmada kullanılan tüm örneklerde; Al2O3 kumlama ve Tribokimyasal kumlamalar arasında anlamlı bir fark gözlenmemekle birlikte kontrol grubuna göre daha yüksek değerler göstermişlerdir. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of different surface treatments on the bond strength between Titanium and composite resin. Three Titanium grades (Grade 2,4, Ti-6Al-4V) and three surface abrasion systems were tested. Material and methods: Titanium plates (n:90) was supplied at 8 mm diameter and 4mm heigth. Surface of Titanium plates were abraded with three different methods; as control group: polishing paper (No. 600), polishing paper and sandblasting (50 μm Al2O3), and polishing paper and tribochemical silica coating technique. Resin composite was applied incrementally (4mm diameter, 6mm heigth) and photopolymerized. Shear bond strengths were evaluated after storage in distilated water at room temprature. Surfaces of Titanium specimens were analyzed by stereomicroscope. Results: Statistical analysis using Kruskal-Wallis revealed that the grades and the types of surface treatments differ significantly (p<0.005).As the results of Al2O3sandblasting group; Grade 5 showed significantly higher values than Grade 4 anda Grade 2. The analysis according to the examples in Tribochemical sandblasting group, Grade 4 and Grade 5 showed higher values than Grade 2. All the examples used in this study, showed that Al2O3 sandblasting and Tribochemical sandblasting had no significant difference amongst themselves but showed higher values than control group.
