Isparta Özel Eğitim İş Uygulama Merkezi'nde Eğitim Gören Engelli Çocukların Annelerine Verilen Eğitimin Annelerin Üreme Sağlığını Koruyucu Bilgi ve Tutumlarına Etkisi Engelli anneleri kendisinin ve sahip olduğu engelli çocuğun üreme sağlığının sorumluluğunu alması açısından özel bir gruptur. Bu çalışma Isparta Özel Eğitim İş Uygulama Merkezi'nde eğitim gören engelli çocukların annelerine verilen eğitimin annelerin üreme sağlığını koruyucu bilgi ve tutumlarına etkisini ölçmeyi amaçlayan müdahale (deneysel) tipte bir araştırmadır. Araştırma öncesi etik kurul onayı ve gerekli izinler alındı. Araştırmanın evrenini Isparta Özel Eğitim İş Uygulama Merkezi'nde eğitim gören öğrencilerin anneleri oluşturdu (n=191). Araştırma grubuna kendileri için belirlenen gün ve saatlerde araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan tanımlayıcı bilgi formu, Bilgi ölçme testi (BÖT) ve Demirci tarafından geliştirilen "Evli Kadınların Üreme Sağlığını Koruyucu Tutumlarını Belirleme Ölçeği (ÜSBÖ)" olmak üzere üç bölümden oluşan anket yüz yüze görüşme yöntemi ile uygulandı. Anket uygulaması sonrası her gruba araştırmacı tarafından "Kadınlarda Üreme Sağlığını Koruyucu Davranışlar" eğitimi yetişkin eğitimi ilkeleri dikkate alınarak verildi. Eğitimden 2 ay sonra BÖT ile ÜSBÖ tekrar yüz yüze görüşme yöntemi ile uygulandı. BÖT toplam puanı ve ÜSBÖ toplam puanı bağımlı, sosyodemografik değişkenler, üreme sağlığına (evlilik, doğurganlık, aile planlaması, genital enfeksiyonlar) yönelik değişkenler, kanserden korunma ve engelli çocuğa olan gebelik ve doğum ile ilgili değişkenler vb. bağımsız değişkenlerdi. Araştırmanın verileri bilgisayar ortamında SPSS 15.0 programı kullanılarak değerlendirildi. Araştırma grubunun eğitim öncesinde aldığı BÖT ve ÜSBÖ toplam puanının eğitim sonrasında arttığı ve bu farkın anlamlı olduğu belirlendi. Bu araştırma, verilen eğitimin kadınların üreme sağlığını koruyucu bilgi ve tutumlarını arttırmada önemli katkıları olduğunu göstermiştir. Effect of Training on Reproductive Health Protective Knowledge and Attitudes for Mothers of Disabled Children Studying in Isparta Special Education Job Application Center Mothers of disabled children are a special group in terms of taking responsibility for the reproductive health of themselves and their disabled children. This experimental study was aimed to determine the impact of training on reproductive health protective knowledge and attitudes for the mothers of disabled children studying in the Special Education Job Application Center in Isparta, Turkey. Prior to research, necessary ethics committee approval and all other permits were obtained. The research population included the mothers of disabled students studied in the Isparta Special Education Job Application Center (n=191). A survey of face-to-face interviews composed of three parts namely a descriptive information form prepared by the researcher, knowledge measurement test and "Identification Scale for Reproductive Health Protective Attitudes of Married Women" developed by Demirci was used for research group at different days and time set by themselves. After the application of surveys, training considering adult education principles on the topic of "Reproductive Health Protective Behaviors of Women" to each group was given by the investigator. Two months after training knowledge measurement test and "Identification Scale for Reproductive Health Protective Attitudes of Married Women" were repeated on a face-to-face basis. Knowledge measurement test and "Identification Scale for Reproductive Health Protective Attitudes of Married Women" total scores were dependent variables while socio-demographic variables, variables for reproductive health (marriage, fertility, family planning and genital infections), variables for cancer prevention and pregnancy and birth of disabled children were independent variables. Data were analyzed using SPSS 15.0 software. Total score of research group prior to training from knowledge measurement test and "Identification Scale for Reproductive Health Protective Attitudes of Married Women" increased after training and this difference was significant. This study show that, training had significant contributions to the enhanced reproductive health protective knowledge and attitudes of women.
