Amaç: Çalışmada, Burdur ilindeki lohusalarda postpartum depresyon (PPD) prevalansının tespiti ve etki eden faktörlerin belirlenerek bu konuda sahada yapılacak çalışmalara yön vermek amaçlanmıştır. Gereç ve yöntem: Kesitsel tipteki araştırmanın verileri, Veriler; 27 Nisan -31 Temmuz 2012 tarihleri arasında Burdur Merkez Toplum Sağlığı Merkezinde görev yapan ebe ve hemşireler tarafından yüz yüze görüşme tekniği kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini 1 Ocak-31 Mart 2012 tarihinde doğum yapmış 709 kadın oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada örnek seçilmemiş olup, evrenin tümüne ulaşılması hedeflenmiştir. Evrenin %92,4'üne ulaşılmıştır (655/709).Veriler SPSS 10,0 paket programında analiz edildi. Bulgular: Kadınların %58,8'i 20-29 yaş grubundadır. Gerek kadınlar (%29,9) ve gerekse eşler arasında (%28,9) en fazla ilkokul mezunu bulunmaktadır. Kadınların %30,4'ü kırsalda yaşamakta, %16,8'i geniş ailede yaşamakta, yaklaşık yarısı görücü usulü ile evlenmiş, %2,3'ünün resmi nikâhı bulunmamakta, %8,9'u eşi ile akraba, %32,8'inin evinde 5 ve daha fazla kişi yaşamaktadır. Kadınların %91,9 unun sağlık güvencesi bulunmakta, % 48,2 si ücretsiz aile işçisi olarak çalışmakta iken %15,2 kadın gelirlerinin geçinmelerine yetmediğini belirtmektedir. Kadınların %22, 1 inde EPDS skoru 12 puan ve üzerinde bulunduğu için, PPD var olarak değerlendirildi. 3 ve üzeri çocuğa sahip olan, kadının evin gelirine ayni ve/veya nakdi katkısı olmayan, eve giren gelir evin geçimine yetmeyen kadınlarda PPD daha sık görülmektedir. Sonuç: Burdur ilinde lohusalar arasında PPD oranı yüksektir. Tanınması ve müdahale edilebilmesi için EPDS'nin lohusa izlemlerinde rutin kullanımının sağlanması gerekmektedir. Toplumun genel sağlığını yükseltmekte olduğu gibi PPD'de de ekonomik refah gereklidir. Aim: The purpose of this study was to determine the prevalence of postpartum depression(PPD) and the factors having an effect on the matter, in the province of Burdur and thus to shape the field work. Materials and methods: Data of the cross-sectional study was collected by the midwives and nurses working at Burdur Central Community Health Center, between April 27-July 31, 2012, by face to face interview techniques. The study's core was composed of 709 women who gave birth on 1 January-31 March 2012. No sample was selected in the survey and it was aimed to reach the entire universe. 92,4% of the universe was reached (655/709). The data was analyzed in the SPSS 10.0 package program. Findings: 58,8% of the women are in the 20-29 age group. There is a maximum of primary school graduates in both women (29.9%) and in partnership (28.9%). Approximately 30.4% of the women live in rural areas, 16.8% live in large families, about half ended up in arranged marriages, 2.3% have no formal marriage, 8.9% are relatives with their husbands, 32% have 5 and above people living in the house. While 91.9% of women have health insurance, 48.2% are working as unpaid family workers, 15.2% of them say that they can not get enough of their income.Since the EPDS score turned out to be 12 points and above in 22.1% of the women,PPD was evaluated as ''positive''. PPD is more common in women who have 3 and above children, women who do not have the same and / or cash contribution to the income of the household, and who do not have enough income to enter the house. Conclusion: The rate of PPD among the puerperants in Burdur province is high. In order to be recognize and intervene, the routine use of EPDS should be ensured in pueperant follow-up.Economic prosperity is required in PPD as well as in raising the general health of population . Family planning services that can not be met in terms of public health should be carefully examined and necessary measures should be planned.
