Çalışmamızda n. fibularis communis'in dağılımının, anatomik özelliklerinin, seyrinde, ayrılma yerinde görülen varyasyonlarının ve ayak sırtının deri innervasyonunun insan fetuslarında araştırılması ve karşılaşılan varyasyonların değerlendirilmesi amaçlandı. N. fibularis communis, caput fibulae'ye doğru fossa poplitea'nın lateral kenarı boyunca oblik olarak inen n. ischiadicus'un iki terminal dalından biridir. N. fibularis communis m. biceps femoris'in medialinde uzanır. N. fibularis communis fibular tünel içinde veya sonrasında n. fibularis superficialis, n. fibularis profundus dallarına ayrılır. N. fibularis communis'in dağılımının bilinmesi sinirin blokajının başarılı gerçekleştirilmesi için önemlidir. N. fibularis superficialis'in dallanma modeli ve özelliklerinin bilinmesi ise ayak sırtının kırıklarında, kesilerinde, tırnak yatağı yaralanmalarında veya ayak sırtını içeren diğer patolojilerde sinirin bölgesel blokajında hızlı anesteziye olanak sağlar. N. fibularis profundus'un bölgesel topografisinin bilinmesi özellikle kas dallarının dağılımı ile ilgili bacak için osteotomi, diz kırık veya çıkıklarından sonra osteosentez ve n. fibularis communis rekonstrüksiyonu sırasında klinik olarak önem taşır. N. fibularis profundus'un dallanma modelinin makroskopik olarak belirlenmesi bu kompleks bölgenin topografik olarak tanımlanmasına büyük katkı sağlar. Çalışmanın bulguları çerçevesinde hazırlanacak rapor, yeni doğanlarda n. fibularis communis blokajına ve fetal dönemde, yeni doğanlarda n. fibularis communis ile ilgili kasların malformasyon, anomali veya patolojilerinin teşhis ve tedavisine katkı sağlayacaktır. In this study, our goal is to examine the distribution and properties of common fibular nerve, variations of its separation level to its terminal branches and cutaneous innervation of the dorsal foot in human fetuses. We also evaluated the variations that we found out during our studies. Common fibular nerve is one of the two terminal branches of sciatic nerve that lies down toward head of fibula, along the lateral side of popliteal fossa obliquely. Common fibular nerve lies in between the medial of biceps femoris muscle and tendon of this muscle with lateral head of gastrocnemius muscle. Common fibular nerve divides into two branches; Superficial fibular nerve and deep fibular nerve in or at the end of fibular tunnel. The knowledge on the distribution of common fibular nerve is important for the blockage of nerves. To know the branching model of superficial fibular nerve and its properties provides fast anesthesia in the local blockage of the nerves that are damaged by pathologies such as: "fractures of the dorsal foot, nail bed injuries and other pathologies involving the dorsal foot. The knowledge of the local topography of deep fibular nerve in the proximal fibular compartment is clinically crucial in the distribution of the muscular branches with related to osteotomy for legs, osteosynthesis after the knee fracture or dislocation and reconstruction of the common fibular nerve. To determine the branch model of deep fibular nerve macroscopically plays an important role in describing this complex region topographically. Our study will be useful for the blockage of common fibular nerve in newborns. It will also contribute in diagnosis and treatment of malformations, anomalies and pathologies of nerves related to common fibular nerve during fetal period and newborns.
