AMAÇ: Süperfisyal servikal pleksus bloğu(SSPB), tiroid ve paratiroid cerrahisinde sık olarak uygulanmaktadır. Nöropatik ağrı ve kronik ağrıdaki etkinliği kanıtlanmış olan pregabalin son zamanlarda preoperatif uygulamalarının postoperatif ağrıyı azalttığı bildirilmektedir. Bu çalışmada; süperfisyal servikal pleksus bloğu ile tiroid ve paratiroid cerrahisi geçirecek olgularda, ameliyattan 1 saat önce tek doz alınan 150 mg pregabalinin; blok özellikleri ve postoperatif analjezi üzerine etkisinin değerlendirmesi amaçlanmıştır. YÖNTEMLER: Etik Kurul onayı alındıktan, sonra çalışmamıza tiroid ve paratiroid cerrahisi için postoperatif analjezi için ultrason eşliğinde SSPB uygulanmış 18-70 yaş arası, ASA I-IΙ grubu 67 hasta verisi tarandı ve 50 hasta çalışmaya dahil edildi. Olgular cerrahiden önce pregabalin verilen ve verilmeyen olarak iki gruba ayrıldı; Grup P'ye (n=25) cerrahiden 1 saat önce 150 mg pregabalin uygulanan ve Grup K pregabalin uygulanmadan SSPB yapılan.Tüm olguların solunum ve hemodinamik parametreleri, blok özellikleri, postoperatif ağrı şiddeti, ilk ağrı başlama ve ilk analjezik gereksinim zamanları hasta dosyaları incelenerek kaydedildi. BULGULAR: Demografik veriler, hemodinamik ve solunum ile ilgili değişkenler, süperfisyal servikal pleksus özellikleri açısından gruplar arasında fark bulunamadı. Postoperatif ağrı skorlarının (VAS) PACU'da, postoperatif 1, 2, 6, ve 12.saatlerde grup P'de daha düşük olduğu saptandı (p<0,05). İlk analjezik gereksinimi zamanı Grup P'de (7,5 sa) grup K'dan anlamlı olarak uzun bulundu (5,4 sa). Duyusal blok başlama zamanı Grup P' de anlamlı olarak daha kısa bulundu. SONUÇ: Periferik rejyonal blok ile analjezi sağlanacak olgularda cerrahiden 1 saat önce tek doz 150 mg pregabalinin; postoperatif ağrıyı ve analjezik gereksinimini azalttığı kanısındayız.

OBJECTIVE: Superficial cervical plexus block is frequently used in thyroid and parathyroid surgery. It has been reported that preoperative implementations of Pregabalin, which has proven to be effective in neuropathic pain and chronic pain, has recently been reported to reduce postoperative pain in preoperative applications. In this study; The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of single-dose 150 mg pregabalin blockage and postoperative analgesia in patients with superficial cervical plexus block and thyroid and parathyroid surgery. METHODS: After the approval of the Ethics Committee, 67 patients with ASA I-II group were screened and 50 patients were included in the study between the ages of 18-70 years, who had undergone thyroid and parathyroid surgery.Fifty patients included in the study were randomly divided into two groups; Group P (n =25) was given 150 mg pregabalin 1 hour before surgery. After routine monitoring, superficial cervical plexus block was observed.Respiratory and haemodynamic parameters of all cases, axillary block characteristics, sedation scores, postoperative pain severity, initial pain initiation and first analgesic requirement times were recorded by reviewing patient files. RESULTS: While the demographic data haemodynamic parameters,characteristics of superficial cervical plexus block, were similar between the groups.It was found that the postoperative pain scores (VAS) were lower in group P in the PACU, postoperative 1th, 2th, 6th, 12th (p<0,05). The time of first analgesic requirement was significantly longer in group (7.5 h) than in group K (5.4 h). The onset time of sensory block was significantly shorter Group P than Group K.CONCLUSION: We believe that a single dose of 150 mg pregabalin 1 hour prior to surgery will reduce the need for postoperative pain and analgesic in cases of analgesia with peripheral regional block.
