Bu çalışmada, Batı Anadolu'da Isparta, Burdur, Antalya, Afyon, Eskişehir, Denizli, Aydın, Manisa, Bursa, İzmit, İstanbul, Yalova, Adapazarı, Zonguldak, Bolu, Muğla illeri ve çevresinde Rissoacea Süperfamilyası'nın türlerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Temmuz 2003-Ağustos 2005 tarihleri arasında yapılan arazi ve laboratuvar çalışmaları sonucunda Rissoacea Süperfamilyasına ait 3 familya, 12 cins, 21 tür tespit edilmiştir; Hydrobiidae Troschel, 1857 familyası içerisindeki Bythinella cinsine ait 4 tür, Tefennia cinsine ait 1 tür, Pseudamnicola cinsine ait 2 tür, Hydrobia cinsine ait 1 tür, Andriohydrobia cinsine ait 1 tür, Phyrgorientalia cinsine ait 1 tür, Orientalinidae Radoman, 1978 familyası içerisindeki Graecoanatolica cinsine ait 4 tür, Pseudorientalia cinsine ait 1 tür, Isparta cinsine ait 1 tür, Islamia cinsine ait 5 tür, Pyrgulidae Brusina, 1881 familyası içerisindeki Falsipyrgula cinsine ait 2 tür belirlenmiştir. Bunlar arasında Anadoludamnicola n.gen. ve Isparta n.gen. yeni cinsleri ve Bythinella baydarii n.sp., Bythinella karapınarensis n.sp., Bythinella wilkei n.sp., Anadoludamnicola gloerii n.sp., Androhydrobia boetersi n.sp., Isparta felei n.sp., Islamia falknowskii n.sp., Islamia fethiyensis n.sp., Islamia incirliensis n.sp. türleri bilim dünyası için yeni tanımlanmıştır. In this study, it is aimed to determinetion of the species belong to superfamily Rissoacea found in the environment and Isparta, Burdur, Antalya, Afyon, Eskişehir, Denizli, Aydın, Manisa, Bursa, İzmit, İstanbul, Yalova, Adapazarı, Zonguldak, Bolu, Muğla provinces in West Anatolia. According to results of this survey and laboratory studies conducted between July 2003 and August 2005, a total of 12 genera, 21 species belong to three families have been determined: 4 species of Bythinella, 1 species of Tefennia, 2 species of Pseudamnicola, 1 species of Hydrobia, 1 species of Andriohydrobia, 1 species of Phyrgorientalia from family Hydrobiidae Troschel, 1857; 4 species of Graecoanatolica, 1 species of Pseudorientalia, 1 species of Isparta, 5 species of Islamia from family Orientalinidae Radoman, 1978; and 2 species of Falsipyrgula from family Pyrgulidae Brusina, 1881. Of these Anadoludamnicola n.gen. and Isparta n.gen. as new genus, Bythinella baydarii n.sp., Bythinella karapınarensis n.sp., Bythinella wilkei n.sp., Anadoludamnicola gloerii n.sp., Androhydrobia boetersi n.sp., Isparta felei n.sp., Islamia falknowskii n.sp., Islamia fethiyensis n.sp., Islamia incirliensis n.sp as new species were given new to science.
