Tez çalışması kapsamında elastik zemin üzerinde bulunan malzeme özellikleri uzunluk koordinatına göre rastgele ve kalınlık koordinatına göre sürekli değişen kirişin değişik sınır koşullarında (bir ucu ankastre diğer ucu serbest; bir ucu ankastre diğer ucu basit mesnetli ve her iki ucu ankastre) serbest titreşimi incelenmiştir. Ayrıca, elastik zemin üzerinde bulunan basit mesnetli kirişin elastisite modülü kalınlık ve uzunluk koordinatlarına göre sürekli değiştiğinde eksenel basınç yükü etkisi altında stabilite problemi ele alınmıştır. Önce elastik zemin etkisi dikkate alınarak homojen olmayan kirişin dinamik stabilite denklemi çıkarılmıştır. Elastik zemin modeli olarak Winkler modeli kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada dinamik stabilite denklemine Monte Carlo ve Galerkin yöntemleri uygulanarak serbest titreşim frekansı ve burkulma yükü için kapalı çözüm elde edilmiştir. Kirişin yoğunluğu sabit, elastisite modülü bileşenleri uzunluk koordinatına göre rastgele ve kalınlık koordinatına bağlı olarak kuvvet ve üstel fonksiyonlar şeklinde değiştiğinde, elastik zemin katsayısının değişik değerleri dikkate alınarak hesaplar yapılmış ve söz konusu parametrelerin serbest titreşim frekansına etkileri incelenmiştir. Elastisite modülü fonksiyonunu tanımlayan bazı katsayıların belirli değerler aldığı görülmektedir. Ayrıca, elastik zemin üzerinde bulunan kirişin elastisite modülü hem uzunluk hem de kalınlık koordinatına göre sürekli değiştiğinde burkulma yükünün değerleri bulunmuştur. Son olarak hesaplar yapılarak serbest titreşim frekansı, kritik burkulma yükü ve ona karşı gelen boyuna dalga sayısı değerlerine homojen olmama ve elastik zeminin etkisinin çok önemli olduğu görülmektedir. Problemin çözümünün kontrolü için literatürde bulunan mevcut çalışmalarla karşılaştırılma yapılmıştır. Anahtar Kelimeler: Elastik zemin, kiriş, titreşim, stabilite, homojen olmama.
Free vibrations of non-uniform beams on an elastic foundation with various boundary conditions (one end clamped the other end free; one end clamped the other end simply supported and both ends clamped) are investigated in this study. Material properties of the beams are assumed to vary random according to the longitudinal direction and continuously according to the thickness direction. Furthermore, the stability problem of the simply supported beam on the elastic foundation with the elasticity modulus varying continuously according to the longitudinal and the thickness direction is determined. Firstly, considering the effect of the elastic foundation, dynamic stability equation of the non-homogeneous beam is derived. Then, applying Monte Carlo and Galerkin methods to the derived equations, a closed solution for the free vibration frequency and buckling load is obtained. The numerical illustrations include the different values of the elastic foundation coefficients, constant beam density and the elasticity modulus components varying random according to the longitudinal direction and varying as power and exponential functions according to the thickness direction. So the effects of these parameters to the free vibration frequency are examined. It is seen that some of the coefficients describing the elasticity modulus function take deterministic values. Furthermore, values of the buckling load of the beam on the elastic foundation are presented when the elasticity modulus varies continuously according to both longitudinal and thickness coordinates. Finally, numerical computations are realized and it is seen that the influence of the non-homogeneity and elastic foundation to the values of the free vibration frequency, values of the buckling load and corresponding to wave numbers are very significant. For the validity of the solution of the problem, the results are compared with the existing examples in literature. Keywords: Elastic foundation, beam, vibration, stability, inhomogenous.
