Bu çalışmada, hava jetli dokuma makinelerinde hava sarfiyatına etki eden parametreler incelenmiştir. Konuyu daha iyi anlayabilmek amacıyla, öncelikle hava jetli dokuma makinelerinden ve kullanım alanlarından bahsedilmiştir. Daha sonra bu makineler hakkında ayrıntılı bilgi verilmiştir. Son olarak da hava sarfiyatına etki eden parametreler ayrıntılı olarak incelenmiştir. Ayrıca hava sarfiyatına etki eden parametreler ile ilgili deney ve ölçümler yapılmış ve hava sarfiyat tablosu elde edilmiştir. Dokumada atkı ipliği hızındaki, gerilimindeki ve atkı büküm kaybındaki değişimin optimum değerlerde olmasıyla birim zamanda dokunan kuma ve kalitesi artacaktır. Bu çalma sonucu elde edilecek verim ve kalite, dokuma iletmelerinin ulusal ve uluslar arası alanda rekabet şansını arttıracaktır. Bir hava jetli dokuma makinesinde, atkı ipliğinin ağızlık içerisinden dokuma genişliği boyunca atılması ve atkının bu yol boyunca hava içerisindeki davranışının incelenmesine yönelik optimizasyon çalmalar sürekli yapılmaktadır. Hava jetli dokumada, atkı ipliği hareketinin incelenmesinin temel amaç, atkı atımının istenilen emniyet sınırlar içerisinde olup olmadığının kontrol edilmesi ve verilen artlar altında atkının davranışını izlemek suretiyle iyi sonuç verecek yaklaşımlar elde edilmesidir. Bu tez çalmasında; ilk olarak hava jetli atkı atma sistemlerinden, daha sonra sırasıyla; belli bal firmaların hava jetli dokuma makineleri özelliklerinden, hava jetli atkı atma işleminin prensiplerinden, hava jetli atkı atımında ipliklerin performansından, hava jetli dokumanın ekonomik açıdan incelenmesinden, dokuma makinesine ait kenar oluşum sistemlerinden ve son olarak bu tez içerisinde kullanılan materyal ve yöntemler ile bunlara bal olarak ortaya çıkan sonuçlardan bahsedilmektedir. In this study, the parameters that affect air consumption of weaving machines were investigated. First of all, some general information about air jet looms were given to understand the subject better. And then, these machines were explained in details. Finally, details of the parameters that affect air consumption were investigated. For this purpose, some experiments and measurements were undertaken and air consumption tables were obtained. During weaving, if the changes in the velocity, tension and twist loss of the weft yarn can be optimized, productivity and quality of the fabric will then increase. Following these studies in regard to increase the productivity and quality of the fabrics, the compatability of weaving mills will increase both at national and international levels. There are various optimization studies about the insertion of weft yarn along the full width of a machine and the behavior of weft yarn in air on air-jet looms. The main aim of these investigations is to control the weft insertion and to keep the weft yarn at optimum conditions. In this thesis; firstly fluid jets weft insertion systems, and then in order; characteristics of weaving machines, the principles of the weft insertion process, performance of the yarns at air-jet weaving, investigations for the economy of air-jet weaving, the selvedge systems used in weaving machines, and finally, the materials and methods used for this study as well as the test result obtained were explained.
