Bu tez çalışmasında, Kane Hamiltoniyeni kullanılarak iki boyutlu InSb yarıiletken kuantum halkası içindeki iletim elektronlarına ait özfonksiyonlar elde edildi. Halka içinde magnetik alanın olmadığı ve dışında halka düzlemine dik ve sabit olduğu kabul edildi. Kuantum halkası sınırlarında özfonksiyonların ve türevlerinin sürekli olması şartından, enerji özdeğerleri ve elektron g çarpanı değerleri magnetik kuantum sayısına (m) bağlı olarak hesaplandı. Hesaplama işlemleri için mathematica programı kullanıldı. Dikkate alınan sayısal veriler için, InSb yarıiletken kuantum halkasındaki iletim elektronlarının üç enerji seviyesinin oluştuğu gözlendi. Negatif m değerlerinin azalması ile enerjinin yavaş bir biçimde azaldığı ve m sayısının sıfıra doğru yaklaşması ile enerjinin bir minimuma sahip olduğu bulundu. Uyarılmış seviyelere doğru gidildikçe bu minimumların m=0 noktasına doğru kaydığı görüldü. InSb yarıiletken kuantum halkasındaki iletim elektronlarının üç enerji seviyesi için g çarpanı değerleri hesaplandı. g çarpanının magnetik kuantum sayısına göre değişimi geniş bir aralıkta sabittir. m sayısının negatifliği azaldıkça taban durumu için g değerinde yavaş bir salınım gözlenirken uyarılmış seviyeler için bu salınımın arttığı bulundu. In the present thesis, eigenfunctions of the conduction electrons are obtained in two-dimensional InSb semiconductor quantum ring, using the Kane Hamiltonian. The magnetic fields are zero inside of the ring and constant elsewhere, and perpendicular to the ring surface. The values of the eigenenergy and the electron g factor were calculated as a function of the magnetic quantum number (m) by the continuity of the eigenfunctions and their derivatives at the boundary of the quantum ring. The calculations were performed using the Mathematica. Using the numerical data, three energy levels are observed for the conduction electrons in the InSb semiconductor quantum ring. The energy decreases slowly with decrease negative m value, and the energy has a minimum value if m value close to zero. When it is close to the exited levels, those of minimum value goes to zero. For three energy levels of the conduction electrons, the electron g factor values are calculated. The variation of the electron g factor with respect to magnetic quantum number is constant in the large interval. When the negative degree of m number decreases, it has been a small oscillation in g value for ground state, and this is increased for exited states.
