Özet: Su kaynaklarının planlanması, geleceğe dönük senaryoların geliştirilmesi ve optimum işletme planının ortaya konulması önemli bir konudur. İşletme ve tasarım yaparken sadece elde bulunan akım serisini dikkate almak yanında, gözlenmiş seriyle istatistik özellikleri aynı, gelecekte görülmesi muhtemel akım serilerini incelemek faydalı olacaktır. Ülkemizin Batı Akdeniz Bölgesinde yer alan Köprüçay Nehri önemli su kaynaklarından biri olup, bu kaynağın doğru ve sürdürülebilir kullanımını hedefleyen hali hazırda birçok sulama, elektrik enerjisi üretimi amaçlı master planları hazır birçok çalışma mevcuttur. Bu çalışmada, Köprüçay Nehri' ne ait günlük, aylık ve yıllık ortalama akım verilerinin stokastik süreçleri analiz edilerek, bu süreçler lineer ve non-lineer parametrik modelle modellenerek, eldeki seriyle aynı istatistik özelliklere sahip farklı dizilişte yeni akım serilerinin oluşturulması amaçlanmıştır. Lineer zaman serisi modelleri olarak otoregresif (AR), hareketli ortalama (MA) ve karma otoregresif-hareketli ortalama (ARMA), Thomas-Fiering modeli ve non-lineer model olarak da sınır (threshold) otoregresif (SAR) modelleri kullanılmıştır. Kurulan modellerin uygunluğuna istatistik testlerle karar verilmiş, uygulama sonuçları eldeki serilerle değerlendirilmiş ve modellerin başarılı olup olmadıkları kontrol edilmiştir. Lineer modellerin, akım serilerindeki dinamik değişimleri tam yansıtmadığı non-lineer modellerin bu süreçlerde daha başarılı olduğu görülmüştür. Dönemlik rejim farklılıklarının hakim olduğu akım serilerinde, non-lineer yaklaşımların dikkate alınarak modellenmesinin önemi ortaya çıkmıştır. Sonuç olarak, lineer ve non-lineer parametrik modellerin akım serinin stokastik yapısına bağlı değişkenliğe uygulama imkanları olduğu görülmüştür. Bu tip model uygulamalarının, ülkemizdeki su kaynaklarının kullanılması ve geliştirilmesine yönelik çalışmalarda, verilecek kararlara katkı sağlayarak faydalı olacağı düşünülmektedir. Abstract: The planning, developing scenarios for the future and producing optimum operating plan of water resources is an important issue. It will be helpful that analyzing of different arranged time series, which have same statistical properties as observed time series and can be seen in the future, in the planning, designing. The Köprüçay River, in the West Mediterranean Region of our country, is one of the important water resources and there is many irrigation and electric power generation targeted master plans and other many studies for true and sustainable usage of it. In this study, it is aimed that generating different arranged time series having same statistical properties as the observed time series by modeling the daily, monthly and the yearly mean runoff data of the Köprüçay River with linear and non-linear parametric time series models. As the linear time series models, autoregressive (AR), moving average (MA), and autoregressive-moving average (ARMA), Thomas-Fiering model and as a non-lineer model threshold autoregressive (TAR) model were used. The appropriateness of the models were tested with statistical tests, the results of the applications were evaluated with observed time series and checked if the models are successful. It is obtained that the linear models don't reflect the dynamic changes in the runoff series exactly and the non-linear models were found more successful in these processes. In the time series, having dominant periodically regime differences, it is revealed that the importance of the non-linear approaches. As a result, linear and non-linear parametric models can be applied to the variability related to the stochastic structure. It is thought that the model applications like these can be helpful for contributing to the decisions of the water resources usage and developing studies.
