Özet: Bu tez üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde, konunun tarihsel gelişimi verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde Hilbert uzayında lineer operatörler teorisi ile ilgili temel oluşturacak bazı tanım ve teoremler verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde sınır şartlarında spektral parametre bulunduran limit çember durumundaki süreksiz katsayılı kendine eş olmayan singüler Sturm-Liouville problemi ele alınmıştır. Yaklaşımın temeli maksimal disipatif Sturm-Liouville operatörünün kullanımına ve verilen sınır değer problemi için bu operatörün özdeğer ve özvektörlerinin incelenmesine dayanmaktadır. Abstract: This thesis consists of three chapters. In the first chapter, the historical progress of the subject is considered. In the second chapter, some essential defmitios and theorems is given which are going to be a basis about Hilbert Space. In the third chapter, A discontinuous nonselfadjoint singular Sturm-Liouville problem with spectral parameter in the boundary conditions is considered. The approach is based on the use of the maximal dissipative Sturm-Liouville operator and for this problem eigenvectors and eigenvalues are studied.
