Bu tez çalışmasında; beslenme alışkanlıkları farklı olan iki türün - Cyprinus carpio (sazan-omnivor) ve Stizostedion lucioperca (sudak-karnivor)- gastrointestinal kanal mukozasının histokimyasal özellikleri ile kolesistokinin-8, gastrin 1, vasoaktif intesinal polypeptid, sekretin, somatostatin-14, bombesin ve histamin peptidlerinin lokalizasyon ve dağılımlarının belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Uygulanan histokimyasal boyama yöntemlerinin, her iki türün çalışılan tüm bölgelerinde reaksiyon verdiği saptandı. Sudakta, asidik mukosubstansın mide bölgelerinde, nötr ve sülfatlı mukosubstansın ise bağırsaklarda fazla olduğu belirlendi. Sazanda ise çalışılan bölgelerin mukosubstans içeriğinin daha çok asidik karakterli olduğu nötr ve sülfatlı mukosubstansın az olduğu tespit edildi. Yapılan immunohistokimyasal çalışmalar sonucunda sudak (Stizostedion lucioperca) ve sazan (Cyprinus carpio)'ın mide (sudakta kardiya, fundus, pilorus; sazanda genişlemiş ön bağırsak bölgesi) ve bağırsak bölümlerinde (ilk, orta ve son bağırsak) genel olarak çalışılan tüm peptidlerin farklı yoğunlukta lokalize oldukları tespit edildi. In this study, it was aimed to identify the histochemical characteristics of the mucosa as well as the localization and distribution of cholecystokinin-8 (CCK-8), gastrin 1, vasoactive intestinal polypeptide (VIP), secretin, somatostatin-14, bombesin, and histamine peptides within the gastrointestinal tract mucosa of two different species - carp (Cyprinus carpio) and zander (Stizostedion lucioperca) - which have different nutrition habits. The histochemical stain methods were found to react in all studied parts of both species. In zander, the acidic mucosubstance was too much in the stomach, while the neutral and sulphated mucosubstance were found to be too much in the intestine. In carp, the mucosubstance content of the studied areas was largely of acidic characteristics, while the neutral and sulphated mucosubstance were detected to be in small amount. As a result of the immunohistochemical studies, all the peptides studied were determined to be localized generally in different distribution within the stomachs of zander (Stizostedion lucioperca ) and carp (Cyprinus carpio) (cardia, fundus, pylorus in zander; the enlarged area of anterior intestine in carp) as well as within their intestines (anterior, middle and posterior intestine).
