Soğutucu akışkanlar, çevreye zarar vermeleri, küresel ısınmaya etki ettikleri ve ozon tabakasına verdikleri zararlar dolayısıyla son yıllarda hızla değişmiştir. Ülkemizin de 2009. un başında imzaladığı Montreal Protokolü ve Kyoto Protokolü ile ozon tabaksına zarar veren ve küresel ısınmaya yol açan soğutucu akışkanların yerlerini çevre dostu doğal akışkanlara terk etmişler ya da terk etmektedirler. Bu yönetmelikler alternatif akışkanlara yönelmeyi ve özellikle CO2 kullanımını artıracak bir kapsama sahip olması beklenmektedir. CO2. nin yüksek ısıtma ve soğutma kapasitesin olması, yüksek COP değerinin olması, ısı geri kazanımı sağlayan sistemler ile birlikte kullanılabilir olması ve çevresel açıdan olumlu etkilerinin olması, CO2 akışkanının tercih edilme sebeplerindendir. CO2 soğutkan olarak, soğutma sistemleri ile birlikte ısı pompası uygulamalarında da kullanılmaktadır. Bu çalışmada tek kademeli bir soğutma sisteminin termodinamik ve termoekonomik yönden analizi yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın ilk aşamasında termodinamiğin birinci kanun analizi yapılarak sistemin soğutma performans katsayısı hesaplanmış ve daha sonra termodinamiğin ikinci kanun analizi yapılarak sistem tersinmezlikleri ve ekserji kayıpları incelenmiştir. Son aşamada da sistemin tümüne termodinamik optimizasyon metodu uygulanarak eşanjör alanları tespit edilmiştir. Bütün analizlerde ees (Engineering Equation Solver) bilgisayar programı kullanılmıştır. Refrigerants, have changed greatly in recent years because they damage to the environment, effect global warming and damage the ozone layer. Thanks to the Montreal Protocol and the Kyoto Protocol signed by Turkey in 2009, the refrigerants giving damage to the ozon layer have left their place to the environmentally friendly natural refrigerant fluids. It has been hoped that these regulations and in particular the use of CO2 will increase. The reasons for the preference of CO2 are the high heating and cooling capacity, a high COP value, the usage with the recovery systems and the positive effects in terms of environment. CO2 is also used as a refrigerant in cooling system with heat pump applications. In this study, thermodynamics analysis and thermoeconomic analysis of the onestage cooling system are made. In the first phase of the investigation, coefficient of performance has been counted by applying the first law of thermodynamic analysis of the system and then eksergy losts and irreversibility of the system are examined by making the second law of thermodynamics. In the last phase of the study, the areas of the exchanger have been identified by practicing thermoeconomic optimization method.
