Enerjiye olan talepteki artış buna karşılık enerji kaynaklarının sınırlı oluşu ve enerji üretim maliyetleri gibi problemler enerji üretim sistemlerinin en verimli şekilde çalışmasını gerektirmektedir. Jeotermal kaynaklardan elektrik üretimi için dünyada çok sayıda jeotermal güç santralleri mevcuttur. Türkiye, jeotermal kaynaklar bakımından zengin bir ülke olmasına rağmen bu kaynakların çoğu güç üretiminde kullanılamamaktadır. Ekserji analizinin amacı sistem performansını gerçekçi bir şekilde ortaya koymak, performansı düşüren nedenleri bulmak, sayısal olarak ifade etmeyi sağlamak ve ekserji analizi sonuçları yardımıyla sistemin performansını artıracak metotları geliştirmektir. Bu çalışmada jeotermal enerji üretiminde kullanılan çevrimlerden kısaca bahsedilmiş 'binary' çevrim santralleri üzerinde durulmuş, çevrimlerin Termodinamik analizi incelenmiş, sistem ve donanımlarının Termodinamiğin Birinci ve İkinci Yasalarına göre enerji ve ekserji hesaplama denklemleri gösterilmiştir. Ele alınan sistem Aydın 'Salavatlı Dora' 1 Jeotermal Güç Santrali olup, santralin akış özellikleri ve donanımları hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Santrale giren jeotermal akışkan ve organik akışkanın çevrim içi donanımlardaki ekserji hesaplaması, termodinamik denklemlerle EES programı kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Ekserji kayıplarının nedenleri, santralin içindeki buharlaştırıcı, ön ısıtıcı kayıpları, türbin pompa kayıpları, jeotermal akışkanın reenjeksiyonu ve n-pentan ekserjisinin yoğuşturucudaki kayıpları içerdiği ve en fazla güç kaybının olduğu donanımın yoğuşturucuda olduğu gözlemlenmiştir. Santralin ekserjetik verimliliği jeotermal akışkanın ekserjisinden hesaplanmıştır. Ayrıca çevrimdeki organik akışkanın izopentan olması durumunda sistemin performansı üzerine olan etkileri EES programında aynı hesaplama metotları kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Çevrimde dolaşan organik akışkanın izopentan olması durumunda sistemin performansının arttığı gözlemlenmiştir. Anahtar Kelimeler: Binary çevrim, ekserji analizi, ikincil akışkan, organik akışkan.
Due to the increase in demanding of energy, limited energy sources reality and energy production costs, power generation systems must be operated at maximum efficiency level. There are numerous power plants to generate electricity from geothermal resources in the world. Although Türkiye is a rich country with regards to geothermal resources, the most of them are nor used in power generation. The aim of the exergy analysis is to put forward the performance of the system in realistic manner, to find the reasons which decrease the performance, to express it numerically and to find the methods which increase the performance of the system by means of exergy analyses results. In this study, the cycles used in geothermal power generation were mentioned shortly, binary cycle power plants were emphasized, thermodynamical analysis of the cycles was studied and the equations for energy and exergy calculations according to first and second law of the thermodynamics were showed 'The system discussed is Dora' 1 Geothermal Power Plant, Salavatlı, Aydın, the information about the properties of the plant flow and its equipment was given. The exergy calculations for the geothermal and organic fluids entering into the plant were carried out by using EES program from the thermodynamic equations in the devices in the cycle. The reasons of the exergy losses were observed to include losses of evaporator in the plant, preheater, the turbine pump, the reinjection of the geothermal fluid and the losses of n pentane in the condenser. The equipment where the maximum power loss takes place was determined to be condenser. The exergetic efficiency of the plant was calculated from the exergy of the geothermal fluid. The effects on the system in the case of the organic fluid in the cycle to be isopentane were analyzed through EES program by using same calculation methods. The performance of the system was observed to increase if isopentane is used in such a cycle. Keywords: Binary cycle, exergy analysis, binary fluid, organic fluid.
