Bu çalışmada, çeşitli katkı maddelerinin sodyum lauril eter sülfatın (NaLES) yüzey gerilimine ve viskozitesine etkisi incelendi. NaLES'in yüzey gerilimi sabit sıcaklıkta üç değişik pH (5,05, 5,55, 6,14) değerinde ölçüldü. Sonra NaLES'e NaCl, MgSO4 ve (NH4)2SO4 katkı maddeleri ilave edilerek yüzey gerilimleri bulundu. NaLES'in yüzey gerilimi NaLES'in derişimi arttıkça tüm pH değerinde azaldı. pH:6,14'te en düşük seviyeye indi. Katkı maddeleri ilave edildiğinde pH:5,05 ve 5,55'de MgSO4 içeren NaLES'in yüzey gerilimleri en düşük seviyede bulunurken pH:6,14'te, (NH4)2SO4 içeren NaLES'in yüzey gerilimi en düşük seviyede bulundu. NaLES'in derişimi arttıkça tüm pH değerlerinde ve sabit sıcaklıkta NaLES'in viskozitesinin arttığı, sıcaklık arttıkça viskozitenin düştüğü bulundu. Aynı sonuçlar katkı maddeleri içeren NaLES'in viskozitelerinde de bulundu. Düşük pH (5,05) değerinde katkı maddelerinin tüm derişimlerinde viskozitenin arttığı, yüksek pH (5,55 ve 6,14) değerlerinde ise viskozitenin azaldığı bulundu. In this study, the effects of various additive substances to the surface tension and viscosity of sodium lauryl eter sulfate (NaLES) were investigated. The surface tension of NaLES was measured at three different pH values (5.05, 5.55 and 6.14) at constant temperature. Then the surface tensions were also measured after adding the additive substances of NaCl, MgSO4 and (NH4)2SO4 to NaLES. The surface tension of NaLES was decreased as the increasing of the concentration of NaLES at all pH values, and reached to the lowest value at pH 6.14. It was reached to the lowest value by the addition of MgSO4 at pH 5.05 and 5.55 and that of (NH4)2SO4 at pH 6.14. At constant temperature the viscosity of NaLES was increased as the increasing of NaLES concentration at all pH values and it was decreased as the increasing temperature. The same values were obtained for the addition of additive substances. It was found that the viscosity was increased for all concentrations of the additive substances at the low pH value (5.05) and it was decreased at the high pH values (5.55 and 6.14).
