Bu tez çalışmasında, düze, basınçlı hava ve iplik olmak üzere üç temel bileşenin bir arada kullanıldığı bir eğirme sisteminin, tek ve çift katlı iplik üretiminde kullanımı sonucunda iplik özelliklerinde meydana gelen değişimin analiz edilmesi ve iplik özellikleri açısından optimum çalışma parametrelerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada öncelikle, farklı tasarımparametrelerine sahip düzeler ile düzelerin kullanımı için tasarlanan bir destekleme aparatı, konvansiyonel ring ve sirospun iplik eğirme sistemlerine yerleştirilip, farklı hava basıncı değerinde %100 pamuk iplikleri üretilmiştir. Hava düzesi kullanılarak üretilen tek katlı iplikler .Jetring., çift katlı iplikler ise .Siro-jet olarak adlandırılmıştır. Düze ve basınçlı hava kullanılarak üretilen ipliklerin yapı ve özellikleri, düze kullanılmadan üretilen ipliklerle karşılaştırılmıştır. Elektronik kütlesel debimetre ve basınç kontrolörü gibi ölçüm cihazları ile düze girişindeki basınçlı havaya ait kütlesel debi ve basınç gibi değerler ölçülmüştür. Elde edilen değerler kullanılarak, her bir düze içerisinde meydana gelen hava akımı tipi ve hava akımına ait hız ve basınç gibi özellikler ANSYS Fluid Flow (CFX) yöntemi ile sayısal olarak analiz edilmiştir. İplik üretimi ve iplik özelliklerinin analizine dayanan deneysel çalışmalar ile hava akımının simülasyonuna dayanan sayısal analiz sonuçları birlikte değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışma, başta düze ve basınçlı havanın kullanımına dayanan çift katlı iplik eğirme sisteminin geliştirilmesi olmak üzere, geniş bir aralıkta değişim gösteren tasarım parametrelerine sahip düzelerin kullanımı ve sonuçta elde edilen iplik yapı ve özellikleri, basınçlı havaya ait kütlesel debi ve basınç ölçümleri, her bir düze içerisinde meydana gelen farklı hava akımı davranışlarının simülasyonu ve iplik çevresindeki hava akımı yapısı ve bu yapının iplik özelliklerine etkisi açısından literatüre pek çok bulgu kazandırmaktadır. Tez çalışması sonucunda geliştirilen ve yapısal parametreleri belirlenen, konvansiyonel ring iplik eğirme sisteminin modifikasyonu olarak kabul edilebilecek her iki eğirme sisteminin, mevcut makine olanakları çerçevesinde farklı iplik yapı ve özellikleri açısından iplikçilere yeni bir ürün üretim imkanı sunacağı gibi yeni sistem ve teknoloji geliştirme konusunda iplikçilik alanına önemli katkılar sağlayacağına inanılmaktadır. The aim of this work was to analyse of the changes in the properties of the single and two plied yarns which were produced on the spinning systems consisting of the nozzle, compressed air and the yarn components and also to determine the optimum working parameters of these spinning systems. In the first part of this study, the nozzles having different structural parameters and a supporting device were placed on to conventional ring and sirospun yarn spinning systems and then 100% cotton yarns were produced at the different air pressure levels. It was given the names of .Jetring. to the single yarns and .Siro-jet. to the two-plied yarns produced with the nozzles. The structure and properties of the Jetring and Siro-jet yarns were compared with that of the yarns produced without the nozzle and compressed air. Mass flow and pressure values of the compressed air were measured through the instrument of electronic mass flowmeter and pressure controller. In terms of the measured values, airflow character and fluid variables such as velocity and pressure in each type of the nozzles were analysed by ANSYS Fluid Flow (CFX) numerical method. The results obtained with the experimental studies based on the spinning of the yarns and the analysis of the yarn structure and properties were evaluated with the numerical analysis results based on the simulation of airflow inside the nozzles. This study gains many findings to the literature regarding to the development of the two-plied yarn spinning system, the yarn structure and properties obtained with the nozzles whose structural parameters changes in large ranges, the measurement of the mass flow and pressure values of the compressed air, the simulationof the different airflow attitudes in the each nozzles types and the airflow characteraround the yarn and its effect on to the yarn properties. We believe that both spinning systems, which can be accepted as a modification of the conventional ring spinning system, will present a new production possibility to the spinners without new machinery investment and will make a contributiontothe research activities related to the development of new system and technologies.
