Çalışma alanı Türkiyenin batısında bulunan Uşak ili Banaz İlçesinde bulunmaktadır ve Akmonia Antik Kenti olarak da bilinir. Şehrin milattan önce 9. yy. da kurulduğu iddia edilmektedir. Akmonia kurulduğundan beri Sardes Susa ve Persepolis kentlerini birbirine bağlayan Kral yolu üzerinde bulunduğu için ekonomik refah içinde olmuştur. Ham manyetik veriler yeraltındaki duvar, metal ve seramikler gibi gömülü yapılar için bazı fikirler verse de, yeraltındaki gömülü yapıları daha iyi tanımlamak için manyetik verilere spektral yöntemler uygulanmıştır. Manyetik verilere kutba indirgeme, analitik sinyal, pseudo-gravite (yapma-gravite) dönüşümü ve sınır analizi yöntemleri uygulanmıştır. Uygulanan yöntemler ile analiz edilmiş verilerden birbirinden farklı beş bölgenin haritaları hazırlanmıştır. Üç ayrı alt bölgenin manyetik duyarlılık haritası da hazırlanmıştır. Sonuç olarak çalışma alanlarında genellikle küçük boyutta gömülü nesneler tespit edilmiştir. Bu nesneler dairesel ve eliptik şekillidir. Sadece iki tane dörtgen şekilli nesne tespit edilmiştir. Alan 1. de iki tane eliptik 3 tane de dairesel şekilli nesneler belirlenmiştir. Alan 2.de iki tane eliptik ve bir tane de dörtgen şekilli nesneler tespit edilmiştir. Alan 3. te bir tane dairesel bir tanede dörtgen şekilli nesneye rastlanmıştır. Alan 4. te iki tane eliptik ve bir tane de dairesel nesne vardır. Alan 5. te de iki tane dairesel nesne belirlenmiştir. The location of the study area is situated near Banaz-Uşak in the west of Turkey and it is known as an Acmonia Antique City. It is claimed that Acmonia was founded at B.C. IX century by Phrygians. Acmonia had been in a state of economic prosperity since it is located on the "Royal Road" connecting the cities of Sardes, Susa and Persepolis. Although appearance of the magnetic anomalies gives some ideas about buried objects in the subsurface, the advanced spectral methods were applied to the magnetic data in order to identify subsurface objects such as walls, metals, and burnt ceramics. RTP (Reduction the Pole) transformation, analytical signal, pseudo-gravity transformation and boundary analysis were applied to the magnetic data. Then, the maps of the transformations were constructed from the converted data in the five different regions. Also, susceptibility maps of three subareas were constituted. As a result, generally small buried objects were identified in the study areas. These objects are elliptical and circular shaped. There are only two rectangular shaped objects in the areas. Two elliptical and three circular shaped objects were determined in the Area 1. Two elliptical and rectangular shaped objects were determined in the Area 2. A rectangular shaped object and a circular shaped object were determined in the Area 3. Two elliptical and circular shaped objects were determined in the Area 4. Two circular shaped objects were determined in the Area 5. The results obtained from the analysis could be getting information about the probable archaeological objects under ground.
