Bu tez çalışmasında koyun (Ovis aries) abomazumunun kardiya, fundus ve pilorus mukozalarında bulunan bazı glikokonjugatların, Con A (Canavalia ensiformis), PNA (Arachis hypogaea), UEA-1 (Ulex europaeus), SBA (Glycine max) lektinleri ile histokimyasal olarak belirlenmesi amaçlandı. Uygulanan lektin histokimyasal yöntemler sonucunda kardiya bölgesinde yüzey epitelyum ve kardiya bezlerinin dip kısımlarında bulunan hücrelerin yüzeyinde PNA haricindeki lektinlerde pozitif reaksiyona rastlandı. Yüzey, foveola gastrika ve bez epitelyum hücrelerinde SBA, Con A ve UEA-I uygulamalarında reaksiyonun apikal sitoplazmada, PNA uygulamasında ise çekirdeğin üzerinde dar bir alanda lokalize olduğu gözlendi. Fundus bölgesinde SBAve UEA-I uygulamaları sonucunda kollum hücreleri, prensipal hücreler, yüzey ve foveola epitel hücrelerinde pozitif sonuç elde edildi. Reaksiyonun Con A uygulamasında çekirdeğin etrafında, PNA uygulamasında ise çekirdeğin üzerinde dar bir alanda oluştuğu gözlendi. Pilorus bölgesinde yüzey epitel hücrelerinin yüzeyinde ve yüzeye yakın kısımlarda bulunan bez epitel hücrelerinde PNA ve Con A uygulamaları hariç diğer lektinlerle pozitif reaksiyon gözlendi. Reaksiyonun PNA uygulamasında çekirdeğin üzerinde dar bir alanda, Con A uygulamasında çekirdeğin etrafında, SBA ve UEA-I uygulamalarında ise apikal sitoplazmada lokalize olduğu saptandı. In this thesis it was aimed to determination as histochemically of some glycoconjugates in mucosa of cardia, fundus, pylorus of sheep.s abomasum by Con A (Canavalia ensiformis), PNA (Arachis hypogaea), UEA-1 (Ulex europaeus), SBA (Glycine max) lectins. As a result of lectin histochemically methods, positive reaction was found with all lectin except for PNA. in surface of lining epithelium and in the bottom parts of cardia glands in the cardia region. It was observed that the reaction was localized in the apical cytoplasm in epithelial cells of lining, foveola gastrica and glands with SBA, Con A and UEA-I applications, however PNA reaction was in a narrow area upon the nucleus. The positive reaction was obtained with SBA and UEA-I lectins in he neck cells, chief cells, lining epithelium and foveola epithelial cells in the fundus egion. The reaciton was observed around of nucleus with PNA. The positive reaction was obtained with the lectins with the lectins except for PNA nd Con A in the surface of lining epithelial cells and epithelial cells of glands near the surface in the pylorus region.
