15.04.2009-15.03.2010 tarihleri arasında yapılan bu çalışmada; Karacaören II Baraj Gölü.nün su ve sedimenti ile gölde yaşayan sazanların bazı dokularında ağır metal birikiminin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma süresince; 24 adet sazan Karacaören II Baraj Gölü.nün değişik bölgelerinden mevsimlik periyotlarla yakalanarak incelenmiştir. Örneklerin ağır metal analizi ICP-OES cihazı ile yapılmıştır. Karacaören II Baraj Gölü suyunun pH değeri 7.42-8.02 arasında ölçülmüştür. Suda yapılan bazı ağır metal analizleri sonucunda Cr, Cd ve Hg hiçbir mevsimde tespit edilememiştir. Cu sadece İlkbahar-2009.da, Fe, Zn, Al ve Sr her mevsimde belirlenirken, Mn ile Pb farklı mevsimlerde belirlenmiştir. Suda en fazla biriken metalin Sr olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Sedimentte yapılan ağır metal analizinde Fe, Zn, Mn, Al, Sr ve Cr tüm mevsimlerde belirlenirken, en fazla biriken metalin Fe olduğu görülmüştür. Pb İlkbahar 2009.da, Cu, Cd ve Hg tüm mevsimlerde analiz limitinin altında çıkmıştır. Sazanın farklı dokularında yapılan ağır metal analizleri sonucunda en fazla biriken metalin Fe olduğu belirlenmiştir. Fe ve Zn her mevsimde bütün dokularda belirlenirken, Cu sadece ilkbahar mevsiminde karaciğer dokusunda görülmüştür. Cr, Cd ve Hg tüm mevsimlerde hiçbir dokuda saptanmamıştır. Diğer metaller ise farklı mevsim ve farklı dokularda tespit edilmiştir. Metallerin, karaciğer ve solungaçta kas dokusuna göre daha fazla biriktiği saptanmıştır. In this study was carried out between 15.04.2009 - 15.03.2010 and was aimed to investigate of the accumulation of heavy metals in water and sediment of Karacaören II Dam Lake and in some tissues of carp (Cyprinus carpio L., 1758) inhabiting in the lake. During the study, totally 24 carp samples have been caught from different regions of Karacaören II Dam Lake and investigated seasonally. The heavy metal analysis of samples were carried out using ICP-OES. The pH values of Karacaören II Dam Lake.s water were measured between 7.42-8.02. The results of the heavy metals analysis in Karacaören II Dam Lake.s water; Cr, Cd and Hg were determined in no seasons. While Fe, Zn, Al and Sr were determined in almost the whole seasons, Cu was only in Spring-2009, Mn and Pb were in different seasons. It was determined that Sr was the highest metal in water. Analysis of heavy metals in sediment, while Fe, Zn, Mn, Al, Sr and Cr were determined in all seasons, Fe was determined as the highest metal. Pb was found the below detection limit in Spring-2009, while Cu, Cd and Hg were below detection limit in all seasons. The results of the analysis of heavy metals in carp showed that Fe was the highest metal in different tissues. Fe and Zn were determined in all seasons in whole tissues, however Cu was determined only in Spring in liver tissues. Cr, Cd and Hg weren.t determined in any tissues in all seasons. Other metals were determined in different seasons and in different tissues. The highest metal concentrations were found in the liver and gill than muscle.
