In this study, radiation which is used to fabric antibacterial property with the physical methods was used. 100% cotton, cotton/poliester and wool/polyester woven fabrics which were made pre-finishing and dyeing in a business conditions primarily were exposed to 18 kGy and 30 kGy doses of gamma radiation with the source of Co-60 and 3.000.000 Ci capacity. Reference fabrics and irradiated fabrics were applied to antibacterial, physical and chemical tests. Changing in the properties of the fabric has been examined and compared with each other. These fabrics weren‘t acquired an antibacterial property with gamma irradiation. In each of the three types of fabrics in the reference fabrics and irradiated fabrics were observed no changes values at rubbing fastness and pilling. With the effect of gamma radiation fabrics‘ breaking strength, tearing strength, fastness to perspiration and washing changes occurred a little.
