Günümüzde uluslararası pazarda rekabet edebilmek için maliyetleri düşürmek, daha hızlı ve esnek üretim yapmak, değişen müşteri taleplerine en uygun şekilde cevap verebilmek hayati derecede önem kazanmıştır. Bu nedenden dolayı müşteri için bir değer teşkil etmeyen ve fazladan bedel ödemeyeceği her türlü israfın yok edilmesi asıl amaçtır. İsraflar önlenerek piyasa koşullarına uyum esnekliği kazanılması ve daha hızlı akış süresi ile karlılığın artırılması hedeflenmektedir. Bu hedefe ulaşabilmek için son yıllarda yalın üretim uygulamaları hızla artış göstermektedir.Bu çalışmada yalın üretim teknikleri ile işletmelerde karlılığın artırılması aynı zamanda daha kısa teslim süresinde daha küçük partiler halinde ve anlık değişen müşteri taleplerine cevap vermek için yapılan çalışmalar anlatılmaktadır.Yalın üretim çalışmasında ilk önce işletmenin mevcut durumun resmi çekilerek kayıplar, israflar tespit edilir. Böylece iyileşme fırsatları tespit edilerek yalın üretim teknikleri kullanılarak verimlilik çalışmaları yapılmaktadır.Bu tez altı bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde giriş bulunmaktadır. İkinci bölümde ise kaynak özetleri verilmiştir. Yalın üretim sistemi hakkında yapılan çalışmalar ve araştırmalara yer verilmiştir. Çeşitli alanlarda uygulamalar anlatılmıştır. Tekstil ve hazır giyim sektöründe başarılı uygulamalar olduğu tespit edilmiştir.Üçüncü bölümde yalın üretimin ilk başlangıç noktası ve gelişimi anlatılmaktadır.Yalın düşünce sisteminin bir kültür hareketi olduğu ve tüm çalışanların bu sisteme inanması ve güvenmesi ile başarılı olabilecek bir sistem olduğu belirtilmiştir. Temel ilkeleri olan değer, değer akışı, sürekli akış, çekme sistemi ve mükemmellik anlatılmaktadır.Dördüncü bölümde ise yalın üretim teknikleri anlatılmıştır. Kanban sistemi, hata önleme sistemi, hücresel üretim ve U hatları, tek parçalı akış, dengeli üretim, yerinde kalite, toplam üretken bakım, otonomasyon, ayıklama, düzenleme, temizlik, standartlaştırma, disiplin ve iyileşme anlatılmaktadır.Beşinci bölümde tekstil ve hazır giyim sektörüne genel bakış bulunmaktadır.Yalın üretim uygulanan firmanın tanıtımı ve uygulama aşamaları anlatılmaktadır.Çalışmada yalın üretimin temel ilkeleri ve teknikleri konusunda bilgiler aktarıldıktan sonra X işletmesinde yapılan yalın üretim çalışmaları ve uygulamalarına incelenmiştir. Yalın Enstitü Derneği Danışmanı ile devam eden yalın dönüşüm projesi kapsamında yapılan iyileşmeler ile elde edilen kazançlar yer almaktadır. Toplam 82 adet Kaizen devreye alınmış ve proses analizleri ile üretim verimliliğinde % 54 iyileşme sağlanmıştır. In today’s World to compete in the International Markets you have to decrease the costs,produce faster and flexible, and pay attention to the customer care.So,because of all of these the main aim is to prevent wastage which do not mean anything for the customer and which he will pay more because of this wastage. By preventing the wastage the main aim to realize is to increase the profits and to catch the latest oppotunuties in the market by producing faster and better quality products. To reach this aim and the target the number of the Lean Manufacturing applications increase rapidly.In this study we explained the studies about decreasing the costs, and increasing the profits and covering all the demand of the customer for fast delivery, and quality with appliying Lean Manufacturig Systems.By taking first study the current situation of lean manufacturing business losses, wastes are identified. Thus, the work efficiency improvement opportunities are identified and lean manufacturing techniques.This thesis consists of six chapters. In the first chapter are logged. In the second chapter summaries of the source is given. Studies and research on lean production system are presented. Described in a variety of applications in fields.Textile and ready‐made in the clothing industry successful practices has been found that.The third section describes the development of lean production and the first starting point. Lean thinking is a cultural movement system and with the trust and confidence of all employees to be successful in this system is a system specified. The basic principles of value, value stream, continuous flow, pull and perfection of the system are described.Lean manufacturing techniques are described in the fourth part. Kanban system, error prevention system, cellular manufacturing, and U lines, one‐piece flow, stable production, on‐site quality, total productive maintenance, otonomasyon, sorting, editing, cleaning, standardization, discipline and improvement are described.In the fifth chapter is an overview of the textile and clothing sector. Applied to describe the company's introduction of lean manufacturing and implementation phases.In this study the basic principles of lean production and lean manufacturing techniques, information about the work of transferring the operation and implementation of the X investigated. Consultant Lean Institute Association with the ongoing improvements in lean transformation gains made under the project is located. Kaizen is a total of 82 commissioned and 54% improvement in the efficiency of the production process analysis is provided.
