Tarım zararlısı böceklerin kontrolünde kullanılan kimyasal pestisitlerin çevreye vermiş oldukları olumsuzluklar nedeni ile alternatif kontrol metotları geliştirilmesi gerekmektedir.Biyolojik ve ekolojik mücadele metotları böceklerin zarar verici etkisini insektisitler kullanılmadan azalmak amacıyla uygulanmaktadır.Frankliniella occidentalis seralarda özellikle geniş bir sebze çeşitlerinde zararlara neden olan ve ayrıca bazı bitki virüslerinin vektörü olan polifag bir zararlıdır.Bu çalışmada, ticari biyopestisitlerden; Priority (Paecilomyces fumosoroseus), Bio-‐Catch (Verticillium lecanii), Bio-Power (Beauveria bassiana), Bio-‐Magic (Metarhizium anisopliae), Bio-‐Nematon (Paecilomyces lilacinus), Karanja Oil EC (Pongamia glabra ekstrakt) ve Nimbedicine EC (Azadiractin) biyolojik aktivitesi F. occidentalis'e laboratuvar koşulları altında, kuru film ve yaprak daldırma yöntemleri kullanılarak belirlenmiştir.Spinosad aktif bileşenli ticari insektisit ve saf su böcek öldürücü aktiviteyi karşılaştırmak amacıyla kullanılmıştır.Ölü böceklerin sayısı uygulamadan sonra 1., 3., 5., 7., ve 10. günlerde belirlenmiştir.Kuru film tekniğine göre 1., 3. ve 5. günlerdeki en yüksek etkiyi sırasıyla %84, %100, %100 ve %100 ile Lazer 48 SC oluşturmuştur.Diğer biyopestisitlerden ise 1. günde %60 ile Karanja Oil, 3. günde %91,30 ile Nimbedicine EC ve 5. günde %100 etki ile tüm biyopestisitler etkili bulunmuştur.Yaprak daldırma tekniğine göre 1., 3., 5., 7., ve 10. günlerdeki en yüksek etkiyi yine %65,22, %91,30, %100 ve %100 ile Laser oluştururken diğer biyopestisitlerden Nimbecidine EC 1., ,3., 5., 7., ve 10. günlerde %30,4, %47,83, %70,83, %86,36 ile etkili olmuştur. Because of increased environmental pollution by toxic chemicals, alternative control methods have to be developed to control agricultural insect pests.Biological and ecological control methods have been used to reduce destructive effects of insects without using insecticides.Frankliniella occidentalis is a pest causing harm on a wide variety of vegetables especially in greenhouses and also a vector of some plant viruses.In this study, biological activity of the commercial biopesticides; Priority (Paecilomyces fumosoroseus), Bio-Catch (Verticillium lecanii), Bio‐Power (Beauveria bassiana), Bio-Magic (Metarhizium anisopliae), Bio-Nematon (Paecilomyces lilacinus), Karanja Oil EC (Pongamia glabra extract) and Nimbedicine EC (Azadiractin) against F. occidentalis were determined under laboratory conditions, using residual film and leaf dipping methods.A commercial insecticide with Spinosad active ingredient was used to compare the insecticidal activity and distilled water was used as control.Number of dead insects were determined at 1., 3., 5., 7., and 10. days after the applications.With the dry film method, Lazer 48 SC was showed the highest infection rate with 84%, 100%, 100% and 100% in 1st, 3rd and 5th day, respectively.Karanja Oil and Nimbedicine EC showed 60% infection in 1st day and 91,30% infection in 3rd day, respectively.In the leaf dipping method, the highest infection rate in 1st, 3rd, 5th and 7th day was observed by Lazer 48 SC with 65,22%, 91,30%, 100% and 100%, respectively.The other biopesticide, Nimbedicine EC caused infection in 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th and 10th day with 30,4%, 47,83%, 70,83% and 86,36%, respectively.
