Bu tezde, genelleştirilmiş parçalı sabit argüman ve genelleştirilmiş parçalı sabit argümana fonksiyonel bağımlı süreksiz etkiler içeren mekanik bir sistemin periyodik çözümünün hangi koşullar altında var olduğu Floquet teorisi ve Green fonksiyonu yardımıyla araştırılmıştır. Bu araştırma, Marat Akhmet (2011; 2014) tarafından elde edilen teorik sonuçlar ışığında, sistem ayrık denklemlere dönüştürülmeden gerçekleştirilmiştir. Teorik sonuçların sisteme uygulanması ile periyodik çözümlerin varlığı için sistemin parametrelerine bağlı sonuçlar elde edilmiştir. Periyodik çözümlerin varlığı için yeterli koşulların belirlenmesinin yanı sıra sistemin çözümleri için kararlılık analizi yapılmıştır. Kararlılık analizi için Floquet çarpanları göz önünde bulundurulmuştur. Bu araştırmalar yedi bölüm şeklinde sunulmuştur. İlk bölümde, diferansiyel denklemler, sapma argümanlı diferansiyel denklemler ve fonksiyonel diferansiyel denklemler hakkında genel bilgiler verilmiş, çözümlerin periyodikliği ve kararlılığı için tanımlar ifade edilmiştir. Ayrıca, literatürde bu konular üzerine yapılan çalışmalara yer verilmiştir. Devamında teorik sonuçların uygulanacağı mekanik bir sistem olan yay-kütle sistemi tanıtılmış ve sistemin parametreleri açıklanmıştır. İkinci bölümde, çalışma esnasında faydalanılan temel kaynaklar özet halinde verilmiştir. Üçünçü olarak, temel Floquet teorisi ifade edildikten sonra genelleştirilmiş parçalı sabit argümanlı diferansiyel denklemler için Floquet teorisine yer verilmiştir (Akhmet, 2011). Sonraki bölümde ise üçüncü bölümde verilen teorik sonuçların genelleştirilmiş parçalı sabit argüman şeklinde gecikme etkisine sahip yay-kütle sistemine uygulanışı ve parametrelere bağlı oluşan sonuçlar sunulmuştur. Bu sonuçlar sistemin çözümünün periyodik olabilmesi için gereken şartları ortaya koymuştur. Dahası sistemin çözümlerinin hangi durumlarda kararlı, asimptotik kararlı ve kararsız davranış sergileyeceği bu bölümde ifade edilmiştir. Bu sonuçların doğruluğu parametrelerin aldığı farklı değerler ile örneklendirilerek nümerik simülasyonlar ile desteklenmiştir. Beşinci olarak, genelleştirilmiş parçalı sabit argümana fonksiyonel bağımlı hemen hemen lineer diferansiyel denklemler için Green fonksiyonu ile ilgili teorik sonuçlar verilmiştir (Akhmet, 2014). Altıncı bölümde ise genelleştirilmiş parçalı sabit argümana fonksiyonel bağımlı kuvvet içeren yay-kütle sisteminin periyodik çözümü için uygun koşullar beşinci bölümde ifade edilen teorik sonuçlar göz önüne alınarak araştırılmıştır. Sistemin parametrelerine bağlı sonuçlar elde edilmiştir. Bu sonuçların doğruluğu parametrelerin aldığı farklı değerler ile örneklendirilerek nümerik simülasyonlar ile desteklenmiştir. Son bölümde, dördüncü ve altıncı bölümde aktarılan uygulamalar değerlendirilmiştir. In this thesis, existence of periodic solutions of a mechanical system including discontinuous effects in the type of piecewise constant argument of generalized type and functional dependence on piecewise constant argument of generalized type is investigated with the help of Floquet theory and Green function. In the light of theoretical results obtained by Marat Akhmet (2011; 2014), this research is carried out without reducing the system into discrete equations. Applying the theoretical results to the systems, the results based on parameters of the system are obtained. In addition to determining sufficient conditions for the existence of periodic solutions, stability analysis is performed for the solutions of the system. The Floquet multipliers are taken into account for the stability analysis. These investigations are presented in seven sections. In the first section, general information is given about differential equations, differential equations with deviating argument and functional differential equations. The definitions for periodicity and stability of the solutions are given. Moreover, studies found in the literature on these subjects are discussed. Later, the spring-mass system, which is a mechanical system that will be studied by applying theoretical results is introduced and parameters of the system are explained. For the second part, the main references used during the study are given as summary. Thirdly, Floquet theory for differential equations with piecewise constant argument of generalized type is presented (Akhmet, 2011) after the main Floquet theory is expressed. In the next section, application of the theoretical results given in the third part to the spring-mass system with delay effect in the form of piecewise constant argument of generalized type and the results based on the parameters are given. These results reveal the conditions required for the system to have a periodic solution. Furthermore, it is expressed in this section that in which case the solution of the system exhibits stable, asymptotically stable and unstable behavior. The accuracy of these results are illustrated by different values of parameters and they are supported by numerical simulation. Fifthly, theoretical results about Green function for quasilinear differential equations with functional dependence on piecewise constant argument of generalized type are given (Akhmet, 2014). In the sixth chapter, the appropriate conditions for periodic solution of spring-mass system including the force with functional dependence on piecewise constant argument of generalized type have been researched considering the theoretical results expressed in the fifth section. The results depending on the parameters of the system are achieved. In the last section, the applications studied in the fourth and sixth parts are evaluated. It is shown that the same results can be achieved with two different methods.
