Bu araştırmanın amacı, anadolu lisesi öğrencilerinin Vitamin Eğitim Yazılımı (VEY) ile ilgili görüşlerinin derinlemesine incelenmesidir. Araştırmada, nitel araştırma yöntemleri içinde yer alan fenomenolojik (olgubilim) araştırma deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu, Yeni Levent Anadolu Lisesi'nde öğrenim gören 59 öğrenci ile Etiler Anadolu Lisesi'nde öğrenim gören 49 öğrenci olmak üzere toplam 108 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Katılımcılar, amaçlı örnekleme yöntemiyle, VEY'i kullanmış öğrencilerden seçilmiştir. Veriler, yarı yapılandırılmış anket formuna verilen yazılı cevaplar ve görüşme formu yaklaşımı ile yapılan görüşmelerin yazılı kayıt altına alınması ile toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizi, NVivo programı kullanılarak içerik analizi yöntemi ile yapılmıştır. Öğrenciler VEY'i, videolu konu anlatımları, deneyler ve testlerle dersi anlamak, ders çalışmaya yardımcı bir kaynak, eğitim amaçlı internet sitesi, konu tekrarı ve pekiştirme yapılan, soru çözme ve sınavlara hazırlık için kullanılan eğitim yazılımı olarak bildiklerini ifade etmişlerdir. Öğrencilerin büyük çoğunluğu (%75,9) VEY ile ilgili tanıtım ve bilgilendirme yapılmadığını belirtmişlerdir. Öğrencilerin VEY'i kullanma nedenleri, konu tekrarı ve pekiştirme, ders çalışmaya yardımcı olma, derslere ve sınavlara hazırlık, konuları anlama, farklı bir öğrenme ortamı olma, derslerde başarılı olmayı sağlama, konu eksikliklerini giderme, okulun yetersiz olması ve yazılımın önerilmesi olarak belirlenmiştir. Öğrencilerin %37,9'u VEY dışında tercih ettiği başka bir eğitim yazılımı olduğunu belirtmişlerdir. Matematik, VEY'de kullanımı en uygun görülen ders olarak belirtilmiştir. Öğrencilerin %80,5'i, VEY'i kullanmada zorluk çekmediğini, %77,77'si, VEY'in beklentileri karşılamada etkili olduğunu belirtmiştir. Öğrencilerin büyük çoğunluğu (%92,6) VEY'in ders başarılarını artırdığını belirtmiştir. Öğrencilerin büyük çoğunluğu (%81,4) VEY'in ders motivasyonlarını artırdığını belirtmiştir. The aim of this research is thoroughly examination of Anatolian High School students' assessments about Vitamin Education Software. In the research, pattern of phenomenological examination has been used which takes place among qualitative research methods. The research work group consists of 108 students studying at Anatolian High Schools. Data has been collected by semi structured survey form and by approach of negotiation form. The analysis of data has been done by contents analysis using the program NVivo. According to the results gained from the research, students have stated that they know VES is an education software to understand the lesson with videos of topic explanations, experiments and tests, an assisting source to study, an internet site with the aim of training, a revision of topics been done, an education software used as a preparation to exams. Majority of the students (82, 75,9%) have stated that no presentation and exposition about VES have been made. Some of the students (26, 24,1%) have stated that they recognize VES by seminars, billboards, recommendations of teachers and friends. Reasons of students' using VES have been determined as a revision of topics and reinforcement, being helpful to studying, a preparation to lessons and exams, understanding the lessons, being a different learning environment, supplying of being successful in lessons, elimination of lack of topics, school's being unsatisfactory and suggestion of the software. Some of the students (41, 37,9%) have stated that there is another education software they prefer other than VES. Math is defined as the most appropriate lesson in VES using. Large majority of the students (87, 80,5%) have rendered that they have no difficulty in using VES. %77,7 of the students defined that VES is effective in living up to expectations. Majority of the students (88, 81,4%) have stated that VES has been increasing lesson success. Also, most of the students (88, 81,4%) have stated that VES has been increasing their motivation.
