Bu çalışmada, iki farklı malzemenin birleşiminden oluşan bimateryal bir diskteki ısıl gerilme analizi analitik olarak incelenmiştir. Diskin iç kısmında bronz malzeme kullanılmıştır. Diskin dış kısmı için alüminyum ve lamel grafitli dökme demir olmak üzere iki ayrı örnek ele alınmıştır. Elastisite modülünün sıcaklıkla değişmediği kabul edilerek diskin iç yüzeyinden dış yüzeyine kadar olan bölgede lineer azalan ve lineer artan, parabolik azalan ve parabolik artan sıcaklık dağılımları altında ısıl gerilme analizi yapılmıştır. Bunun yanısıra sıcaklıkla elastisite modülünün değiştiği varsayılarak her bir sıcaklık değeri için diski oluşturan malzemelere ait elastisite modülleri belirlenerek ısıl gerilme analizi yapılmıştır. Ayrıca diskin tamamı tek bir malzeme (bronz) olarak kabul edilmiş ve bu disk için sabit elastisite modülü durumunda lineer artan sıcaklık dağılımı altında ısıl gerilme analizi yapılmıştır. Hesaplama için FORTRAN'da bir bilgisayar programı geliştirilmiştir. Analiz sonucu elde edilen değerler tablolar ve grafikler halinde sunulmuştur. Üç farklı durum için hesaplanan sonuçlar birbirleriyle karşılaştırılmıştır. Diski oluşturan malzemelerin elastisite modülleri ve termal genleşme katsayıları farklı olduğu için ikinci malzemeye geçiş noktasında radyal ve teğetsel gerilmelerde belirgin bir değişiklik olmaktadır. Radyal gerilme bileşenlerinin diskin en iç ve en dış yüzeylerinde daima sıfır olduğu görülmektedir. Radyal gerilmelerin en yüksek değerleri diskin iç kısmına yakın kısımlarda meydana gelmiştir. Bu bölgeden dış bölgeye doğru gidildikçe radyal gerilme değerlerinde azalma olmaktadır. İç yüzeyden dış yüzeye doğru artan sıcaklık dağılımı altında teğetsel gerilmeler diskin iç kısmında çekme, dış kısmında basma gerilmesi olarak meydana gelmiştir. İç yüzeyden dış yüzeye doğru azalan sıcaklık dağılımı altında ise teğetsel gerilmeler diskin iç kısmında basma, dış kısmında çekme gerilmesi olarak meydana gelmiştir. Sıcaklığın artmasıyla radyal ve teğetsel gerilme değerlerinde artış olduğu görülmektedir.
In this study, analysis of thermal stress on a bimaterial disc has been examined analytically. Bronze has been used inside of the bimaterial disc and aluminium or cast iron with lamellar graphite has been used outside of it. Firstly, it's assumed that elasticity module isn't changing with the temperature. The thermal stress has been analyzed under increasing / decreasing different linear and parabolic temperature from inner to outer surface throughout the radial section. Secondly, it's assumed that elasticity module is changing with the temperature, the thermal stress has also been analyzed. Furthermore, it's assumed that the disc is made of the one material and has constant elasticity module. The thermal stress is also analyzed under the distribution of linear increasing temparature for this condition. A computer program, FORTRAN, has been developed to calculate the thermal stresses. The distributions of the stress have been obtained from inner to outer surface of the disc and results have been presented in tables and plots. The results from three different cases have been compared with each other. As a result of these analyses, there is a distinct variation in the radial and tangential stress because of different elasticity module and thermal expanded coefficient at the adjacent area of the materials. The components of radial stress are always zero at the most inner and outer surface of the disc. The greatest value of the radial stress has been obtained at the near to the inner surface of the disc. The components of the tangential stress are in the form of tensile in the inner surface of the disc and compression in the outer surface of the disc under the distribution of increasing temperature from inside to outside. On the other hand, it has been determined under the distribution of decreasing temperature from inside to outside that the tangential stress components are in the form of compression in the inner surface of the disc and tensile in the outer surface of the disc. It has been determined that tangential stress values are approximately zero around the middle part of the disc. The stresses also become greater when the temperature is increased.
