Dünya üzerinde tarımsal faaliyetlerde meyve ve sebze üretimi büyük bir yer tutmaktadır. Bu üretim içerisinde hem ekonomik öneme sahip olması hem de büyük bir yetiştirme alanına sahip olması nedeniyle turunçgiller ilk sıralarda yer almaktadır. Türkiye ise bulunduğu coğrafi konum nedeniyle turunçgil üretiminde ve pazarlanmasında önemli avantajlara sahiptir. Üretimde büyük bir yeri olan turunçgillerde zarar yapan birçok hastalık ve zararlı bulunmaktadır. Zarar yapan organizmalar arasında önemli ekonomik kayıplara neden olan kabuklubitler ilk sırayı almaktadır. Polifag bir coccinellid olan Rhyzobius lophanthae Blaisdell, bu zararlıların en önemli avcılarından birisidir. Bu çalışmada, R. lophanthae'nin üç farklı besin (Aspidiotus nerii, Chrysomphalus dictiyospermi, Aonidiella aurantii) üzerinde yaşam çizelgeleri belirlenmiştir. Bu amaçla üç farklı avcı grubu oluşturulmuş ve bu gruplara besin olarak farklı kabuklubitler verilmiştir. Bu grupların yaşam çizelgesi parametreleri Euler-Lotka eşitliğine göre RmStat-3 programı kullanılarak hesaplanmıştır. Bu çalışma, 26±1°C sıcaklık, %60±1 sabit nem ve 16:8 saat aydınlatma koşullarına ayarlanmış iklim dolaplarında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Predatör gruplarının yaşam çizelgesi analizlerinde net üreme gücü (R0), kalıtsal üreme gücü (rm), ortalama döl süresi sırasıyla 36.027, 12.520 ve 6.600 dişi/dişi/generasyon, 0.120, 0.061 ve 0.041 dişi/dişi/gün, 30.005, 41.151 ve 45.826 gün olarak bulunmuştur. Predatör grupların populasyonun ikiye katlanma süresi (DT) ve artış oranı sınırı (λ) sırasıyla, 5.803, 11.286 ve 16.832 gün, 1.127, 1.063, 1.042 birey/dişi/gün olarak hesaplanmıştır. Sonuçlara dayanarak laboratuvar koşullarında avcının kitle üretiminin A. nerii üzerinde daha ekonomik ve daha hızlı olabileceği söylenebilir. The production of fruits and vegetables has a great place in agricultural activities around the world. Citrus fruits are placed near the top within this production in terms of having economic importance and a large growing area. Turkey has significant advantages in the production and marketing of citrus fruits due to its geographical position. There are many damaging diseases and pests in citrus fruits which have a great place in production. The scale insects causing significant economic losses are on the first rank among damaging organisms. Rhyzobius lophanthae Blaisdell, a polyphagous Coccinellidae, is one of the most important predators of these pests. In this study, the life tables of R. lophanthae on three different preys (Aspidiotus nerii, Chrysomphalus dictiyospermi, Aonidiella aurantii) were determined. For this purpose, three different predator groups were formed, and different scale insects were given to these groups as the prey. The life table parameters of these groups were calculated using RmStat-3 program according to the Euler-Lotka equation. This study was carried out in climate cabinets adjusted to the temperature of 26±1°C, 60±1% constant moisture and 16: hours lighting conditions. Life table analyses of the predator groups demonstrated that the net reproductive rate (R0), intrinsic rate of increase (rm), mean generation time (T0) were found 36.027, 12.520 and 6.600 females/females/generation, 0.120, 0.061 and 0.041 females/females/day, 30.005, 41.151, and 45.826 days, respectively. The doubling time (DT) and finite rates of increment (λ) of the predator groups were calculated to be 5.803, 11.286 and 16.832 days, 1.127, 1.063, 1.042 individual/females/day, respectively. Based on the results, it is possible to say that mass production of the predator in laboratory conditions can be more economical and rapid on the armored scale insect, A. nerii.
