Yenilenebilir enerji kaynaklarını kullanan soğutma sistemleri üzerine yapılan çalışmalar dikkate alındığında ülkemizde gün geçtikçe arttığı görülmektedir. Ejektörü kullanan soğutma sistemleri ise güneş enerjisi, jeotermal enerji gibi ısıl enerji kaynaklarını ve suyu çalışma akışkanı olarak kullanması açısından dikkat çekmektedir. Bu nedenle ejektörlü sistemler, çevreyle dost sistemler olarak kabul edilmektedir. Bu çalışmada, ejektörlü bir soğutma sisteminin tasarlanmasında optimizasyon koşulları teorik ve deneysel olarak araştırılmıştır. Çalışma akışkanı olarak su tercih edilen ejektörlü soğutma sisteminde, Termodinamiğin I. ve II. yasa analizleri ejektör teorisine uygun şekilde yapılmıştır. Sistemin her bir noktasındaki entalpi, entropi, sıcaklık, basınç, kütlesel debi ve hız gibi termodinamik özellikleri hesaplanmıştır. Ayrıca sistemin ekserji analizi yapılarak her bir sistem elemanındaki ekserji kayıpları hesaplanmıştır. Elde edilen sayısal sonuçlar tablolar halinde verilmiştir. Ejektörün boğaz bölgesinde gerçekleşen şok olayının teorik olarak elde edilmesini sağlayan Rayleigh ve Fanno eğrilerinin kesişimi, iterasyon yapılarak elde edilmiştir. Burada optimum değer elde edilerek ejektör boyutlandırılması gerçekleştirilmiştir. Ayrıca soğutma sisteminin her bir elemanı için modelleme yapılarak boyutlar elde edilmiştir. Farklı çalışma şartları altında, ejektörlü sistemin soğutma performans katsayısı (COP) ve ekserji verimi (ε) hesaplanmıştır. Sistem parametrelerinin, sistemin performans katsayısı (COP) ve ikinci yasa verimi (ε) üzerine olan etkileri incelenmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlar, grafikler ve tablolar halinde verilmiştir. Deneysel çalışma için 1 kW’lık soğutma kapasitesine sahip ejektörlü soğutma sistemi tasarlanmış ve imal edilmiştir. Deneysel olarak elde edilen veriler ile teorik olarak hesaplanan değerler karşılaştırılmıştır. Bu çalışmada, ejektörlü sistemin her türlü analizinin yapılabildiği EES programında bir program yazılmıştır. Sistemin giriş parametrelerinin her bir değeri için çalışacak şekilde hazırlanmış bulunan bu programla, istenilen şartlarda sistemin hesabını yapmak mümkün olabilmektedir. Kurulan deneysel sistemin teorik ve deneysel analizinin yanı sıra Hesaplamalı Akışkanlar Dinamiği (HAD) programı ile akış analizi yapılarak farklı generatör sıcaklıklarında ejektör içindeki sıcaklık, basınç ve hız dağılımı elde edilmektedir. Bu sistemde, teorik, deneysel ve akış analizi sonuçlarının birbirleri ile tutarlı olduğu görülmektedir. Ejektörlü sistemin teorik ve deneysel olarak tüm analizlerinin yapıldığı bu çalışmada, ülkemizde bu sistemlerin tasarımı ve imalatı konusunda yapılacak araştırmalar için önemli bir kaynak oluşturacaktır. Considering that studies on cooling system using renewable energy sources in our country, it is seen that utilization of these systems increasing day by day. Ejector refrigeration systems are becoming popular since they use thermal energy such as solar and geothermal and water as working fluid. Therefore, ejector refrigeration systems are considered as environmentally friendly systems. In this study, theoretical and experimental investigation of an ejector cooling system have been investigated for optimum design conditions. For this aim, the first and second law of thermodynamics analyses were made in accordance with ejector theory, for water as the working fluid in ejector cooling system. The thermodynamic properties of the system such as enthalpy and entropy were determined at each point according to the temperature and pressure values. Also exergy losses in each system element were calculated. The obtained numerical results were presented in tables. The intersection of Rayleigh and Fanno curves on shock event occurred in the throat of the ejector is obtained by iteration. Ejector modelling was carried out for the optimum conditions. Also the whole system was modelled for each element and the cooling system dimensions were obtained. Cooling coefficient of performance (COP) and exergy efficiency (ε) of the ejector cooling system were calculated at different operating conditions. The effect on the coefficient of performance and second law efficiency of the system parameters were investigated. The obtained numerical results were presented in tables and graphics. For the experimental study, an ejector cooling system with cooling capacity of 1 kW was designed and constructed. Experimental values were compared with theoretical values. For the thermodynamic analyses and calculations of the system, a computer program code was written in EES program. Computer program operates for every value of input parameters of the system. The system parameters can be calculated for required conditions with this program. Flow Analysis as well as the theoretical and experimental analysis was carried out with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) program by modelling temperature, pressure and velocity values for different generator temperature values. In this system, theoretical, experimental and flow analysis results were appeared to be consistent with each other. This study, in which all the theoretical and experimental analyses of the ejector cooling system were carried out, will be an important source for investigations about the design and construction of ejector cooling systems in our country.
