Bu çalışmada; Sakarya yöresine ait bazı jeotermal kaynakların emprenye maddesi potansiyelinin incelenmesi, farklı sıcaklık değerlerinde jeotermal sularla emprenye edilen kızılçam (Pinus brutia Ten.) odunlarının bazı özelliklerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Deneylerde Sakarya yöresine ait Geyve, Kuzuluk ve Taraklı jeotermal suları kullanılmıştır. Yapılan saha araştırmaları sonucu jeotermal kaynakların çıkış yerlerinin emprenye işlemi yapmaya uygun olmamasından dolayı jeotermal sular laboratuvar ortamına taşınmıştır. Laboratuvar ortamına getirilen üç farklı jeotermal kaynağa ait sular, dört farklı sıcaklık (23 0C ±2, 48 0C±2, 69 0C±2, 92 0C±2) değerlerine getirilmiştir. Hazırlanan örnekler jeotermal sularda soğuk-sıcak daldırma yöntemi uygulanarak emprenye edilmiştir. Emprenye işlemi sonunda örnekler üzerinde absorpsiyon, retensiyon, yoğunluk, rutubet, genişleme, su alma, eğilme direnci, eğilmede elastikiyet modülü ve liflere paralel basınç direnci testleri yapılmıştır. Testlerin sonuçları istatistiksel anlamda değerlendirilmiş ve anlamlı sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır. Buna göre, jeotermal akışkanlar ağaç malzemenin yoğunluk, rutubet, absorpsiyon ve retensiyon performansını artırmıştır. Su alma oranı, eğilme direnci, liflere paralel basınç direnci ve eğilmede elastikiyet modülü kontrole göre azalmıştır. Bu jeotermal sularla emprenyede absorpsiyon 0.25 g/cm3-0.57 g/cm3; rutubet %6.50-%26.63; yoğunluk 0.53-0.57 g/cm3; retensiyon 0.28-2.54 kg/m3, su alma oranı %58.10-79.09 arasında değişirken; genişleme miktarı ise, radyal yönde %5.42-%6.41 ve teğet yönde %6.79-%8.22 arasında değişmiştir. Eğilme direnci 76.82-131.66 N/mm2; eğilmede elastikiyet modülü 5128.43-11304.61 N/mm2 ve liflere paralel basınç direnci ise 31.29-64.07 N/mm2 arasında değiştiği görülmüştür. In this study; Investigation of impregnation potential of some geothermal sources belonging to Sakarya region and some properties of Turkısh redpine (Pinus brutia Ten.) chambers impregnated with geothermal waters at different temperature values. Geothermal waters belonging to the Sakarya region were used in the experiments. Geothermal waters have been moved to the laboratory due to the fact that the exit sites of the resulting geothermal resources are not suitable for impregnation. The waters belonging to three different geothermal resources brought to the laboratory were brought to four different temperatures (23 0C ± 2, 48 0C ± 2, 69 0C ± 2, 92 0C ± 2). Prepared samples were impregnated by cold-hot dipping method in geothermal waters. At the end of the impregnation process, absorption, retention, density, equilibrium moisture content, swelling, water uptake rate, bending resistance, modulus of elasticity in bending and parallel pressure resistance tests were performed on samples. The results of the tests were evaluated statistically and significant results were obtained. Accordingly, geothermal fluids increased the equilibrium moisture content, absorption and retention performance of wood materials. Density, water uptake rate, bending resistance, and pressure parallel to the fiber are reduced compared to the resistance control. Absorption in the impregnation with these geothermal waters is 0.25 g/cm3-0.57 g/cm3; humidity 6.50% -26.63%; density 0.53-0.57 g/cm3; retention is 0.28-2.54 kg/m3, water uptake is 58.10-79.09%; while the amount of swelling ranged from 5.42% to 6.41% in the radial swelling and from 6.79% to 8.22% in the tangential swelling, respectively. Bending resistance 76.82-131.66 N/mm2; The modulus of elasticity in bending was reported to vary from 5128.43 to 11304.61 N/mm2 and the pressure resistance parallel to the fiber varied from 31.29 to 64.07 N/mm2.
