Bu çalışma kapsamında, literatürde mevcut değişken sayıda hedef fonksiyonuna ve değişken sayıda karar değişkenlerine sahip, on üç iyi bilinen ve sınırlandırılmamış optimizasyon test fonksiyonuna yönelik Pareto eğrisini elde etmek amacıyla yeni bir çok-hedefli parçacık sürü optimizasyonu algoritması geliştirilmiştir. Kutupsal koordinat sistemi kapsamında gerçek Pareto eğrisini elde edebilmek için sürü içerisinde yer alan her bir parçacık (leniyi) için en iyi yerel rehberi tayin etmek için bir Asgari Açısal Mesafe Bilgisi (MADI) tekniği kullanılmıştır. Her tekrarda her sürü içerisinde yer alan domine edilmemiş parçacıklar kümesini belirlemek için hızlı, basit ve etkin bir algoritma kullanılmıştır. Her tekrar sonunda domine edilmemiş parçacıkları saklamak için bir harici bellek (arşiv) kullanılır ve bu arşivin büyüklüğünü muhafaza etmek ve gerçek ve kesin bir Pareto eğrisi çizmek için kullanılan birleştirilmiş domine edilmemiş parçacıkların yoğunluğunu muhafaza edebilmek için de bir dışlama mesafesi tekniğinden yararlanılmıştır. Kısıtlayıcı işlevleri idare edebilmek ve güncel bir tekrar sırasında kısıt ihlali sayılarına dayalı olarak yeni cezalandırılmış hedef fonksiyonlarını asıl hedef fonksiyonlarına dönüştürebilmek için ise bir kendiniuyarlayabilen bir penaltı fonksiyonu tekniğinden faydalınılmıştır. Geliştirilen algoritma Matlab platforumunda gerçeklenmiş ve literatürde mevcut on üç iyi bilinen test fonksiyounua uygulanarak performansı doğrulanmıştır. Hesaplanan deneysel test sonuçları, Pareto eğrisi şu üç metrik kapsamında sunulmuştur: Sunulan algoritmanın gerçekçi bir şekilde doğrulanıp doğrulanmadığını incelemek için kullanılan Nesilsel Mesafe (GD), Aralık (S) ve Hata Oranı (ER), daha önce gerçekleştirilen çalışmalar ve algoritmalardan elde edilen sonuçlarla iyi uyum göstermektedir. Aynı zamanda söz konusu sonuçlar, sunulan algoritmanın test edilen tüm test fonksiyonlarına yönelik gerçek bir Pareto eğrisini etkin bir şekilde belirleyebileceğini de göstermektedir. Farklı mühendislik ve tıbbi fonksiyonlara yönelik sunulan çok hedefli parçacık sürü optimizasyonu algoritmasının uygulama alanları ve diğer genel algoritmalarla yapılan karşılaştırmalar, sonraki çalışmalar olarak ileri sürülmektedir. A new multiobjective particle swarm optimization algorithm is developed in this study to get the Pareto front for thirteen well-known constrained and unconstrained optimization test problems with a variable number of objective functions and a variable number of decision variables available in literature. A Minimum Angular Distance Information (MADI) technique is used to assign the best local guide to each particle (lbest) within the swarm to get the real Pareto front in the polar coordinate system. A fast, simple, and efficient algorithm is followed to determine the nondominated set of particles within the whole swarm at each iteration. An external repository (archive) is used to store these nondominated particles at the end of each iteration, and a crowding distance technique is used to maintain the size of archive and to maintain the diversity of the converged nondominated particles used to draw a real and accurate Pareto front. A self-adaptive penalty function technique is followed to handle the constraint functions and to transform the original objective functions into new penalized objective functions based on their amount of constraint violation at a current iteration. The developed algorithm is coded by Matlab formulas, and verified using thirteen well-known test problems available in literature. Calculated experimental test results, represented in Pareto front and three metrics, which are: Generational Distance (GD), Spacing (S), and Error Ratio (ER) used to examine the realistic verification of the proposed algorithm, show good agreement with the given results gained from previous studies and algorithms. These results, also, indicate that the proposed algorithm can efficiently determine the real Pareto front for all the tested problems. Applications of the proposed multiobjective particle swarm optimization algorithm to different engineering and medical problems, and more comparisons with other common algorithms, are suggested as future works.
