Türkiye turunçgil yetiştiriciliğinde önemli bir yere sahiptir ve gün geçtikçe üretimi artmaktadır. Artan üretimden dolayı, hem zararlı sayısında hem de zararlıların popülasyonlarında büyük artışlar gözlenmektedir. Üreticiler bunu önlemek için değişik yöntemler uygulamaktadır. Bu yöntemlerden birisi biyolojik mücadeledir. Bu yöntem içerisinde önemli bir yeri olan Rhyzobius lophanthae Blaisdell (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae), turunçgillerde zararlı olan kabuklubitlere karşı oldukça etkilidir. Bu çalışmada farklı sıcaklıklarda (14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32, 34 ve 36 °C) avcının yaşam çizelgesi parametreleri belirlenmiştir. Denemeler %60 nem ve 16:8 saat aydınlatma koşullarına ayarlanmış iklim dolaplarında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Aspidiotus nerii Bouché ile bulaşık patates yumruları besin olarak kullanılmıştır. Avcının farklı sıcaklıklardaki yaşam çizelgesi parametreleri Euler-Lotka eşitliğine göre RmStat-3 ile hesaplanmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre avcının farklı sıcaklıklardaki yaşam çizelgesi parametrelerinden kalıtsal üreme yeteneği (rm) sırasıyla 0.016, 0.022, 0.030, 0.052, 0.056, 0.068, 0.120, 0.142, 0.132, 0.021 dişi/dişi/gün olarak bulunmuştur. Net üreme gücü (R0) sırasıyla 7.082, 9.514, 11.960, 50.906, 54.150, 49.525, 56.883, 80.944, 31.149 ve 1.882 dişi/dişi/döl olarak hesaplanmıştır. Ortalama döl süresi (T0) sırasıyla 125.966, 104.602, 84.009, 75.742, 71.511, 57.568, 33.801, 30.866, 25.978 ve 30.759 gün olarak bulunmuştur. 34 °C'de yumurtaların çoğu bu süreçte ölürken; yalnızca iki yumurta birinci larva dönemine geçiş yapabilmiştir. Bu larvalar da bu dönemde ölmüştür. 36 °C'de ise yumurtaların tamamı açılmadan ölmüştür. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre, laboratuvar koşullarında avcının kitle üretiminin 26 ve 30 °C arasında daha hızlı ve daha ekonomik olabileceğini söylemek mümkündür. Turkey has an important place in citrus production and production has increased day by day. Because of growing production, large increases have been observed in population of harmful pests and their numbers. Producers have applied various methods to prevent this. Biological control is one of these methods. Rhyzobius lophanthae Blaisdell (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae) which has an important role in this process, is very effective against scale insects. The study investigated the age-specific life table parameters of the predator at different temperatures (14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32, 34 and 36 °C). The experiments were carried out in different climatic chambers set to 60% humidity and 16:8 hours photoperiod. Potato tubers, infected by Aspidiotus nerii, were used as food. Life table parameters of the predator in different temperatures were calculated with RmStat-3 according to Euler-Lotka equation. According to the results, life table analyses of the predator in different temperatures demonstrated that the intrinsic rate of increase (rm) was found 0.016, 0.022, 0.030, 0.052, 0.056, 0.068, 0.120, 0.142, 0.132, 0.021 females/female/day, respectively. The net reproductive rate (R0) was calculated 7.082, 9.514, 11.960, 50.906, 54.150, 49.525, 56.883, 80.944, 31.149, 1.882 females/female/generation, respectively. The mean generation time (T0) was found 125.966, 104.602, 84.009, 75.742, 71.511, 57.568, 33.801, 30.866, 25.978 and 30.759 days, respectively. At 34 °C, while most of the eggs died in this process, only two eggs could move the first larval stage. And then, these larvae died in this stage. At 36 °C all of the eggs died in this period. According to the results, it is possible to say that mass production of the predator in laboratory conditions can be more economically and rapidly in the between 26 and 30 °C.
