Bu seleksiyon çalışması Tefenni yöresinde 3 yıl süreyle (2014-2016) tohumdan yetişen ceviz ağaçlarının oluşturduğu populasyon içerisinden üstün özellikli genotipleri seçmek amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. 1. deneme yılında (2014) 102 ağaçtan meyve örneği alınmıştır. Bunlardan 12 tanesi Yavuz-1 (KR-2) çeşididir ve referans olarak kullanılmıştır. 2. deneme yılında (2016) 30 ağaçtan meyve örneği alınmıştır. Meyve örneği alınan bu genotiplerde bazı meyve özellikleri ve ağaç özellikleri incelenmiştir. Meyve örneği alınan ceviz genotipleri kabuklu ve iç ceviz bakımından ayrı olarak tartılı derecelendirmeye tabi tutulmuşlardır. Yapılan tartılı derecelendirmeler sonucunda 10 genotip ümivar seçilmiştir. Seçilen genotiplerin UPOV kriterlerine göre değerlendirilmiş ve yağ oranlarına bakılmıştır. İki yıllık verilerin ortalamasına göre seçilen genotiplerde en fazla meyve ağırlığı 13.04 g ile 15.TE.013 genotipinde, iç ağırlığı 6.53 g ile 15.TE.077 genotipinde, randımanı % 65.09 ile 15.TE.077 genotipinde, kabuk kalınlığı 1.65 mm ile 15.TE.062 genotipinde bulunmuştur. Seçilen genotiplerin yağ oranları % 62.29 (15.TE.013) ile % 70.24 (15.TE.001) arasında bulunmuştur. Selekte edilen genotipler UPOV kriterlerine göre değerlendirildiğinde toplam puanları sırasıyla 15.TE.001'de 154 puan, 15.TE.002'de 130 puan, 15.TE.013'te 139 puan, 15.TE.014'te 142 puan, 15.TE.017'de 143 puan, 15.TE.018'de 139 puan, 15.TE.056'da 118 puan, 15.TE.62'de 131 puan, 15.TE.077'de 147 puan ve 15.TE.078'de 116 puan olarak hesaplanmıştır. Sonuç olarak 15.TE.001, 15.TE.002, 15.TE.013, 15.TE.014, 15.TE.017, 15.TE.018, 15.TE.056, 15.TE.062, 15.TE.077 ve 15.TE.078 nolu genotipler dikkate değer bulunmuş olup, üzerinde çalışılması tavsiye edilmektedir. This selection study was carried out in Tefenni region for 3 years (2014-2016) in order to select genotypes superior to the populations of walnut trees grown from seed. During the first trial (2014), 102 fruit samples were taken. 12 of them are Yavuz-1 (KR-2) and used as a reference. In trial 2 (2016) 30 fruit samples were taken from the tree. Some fruit characteristics and tree characteristics have been examined in these genotypes taken from fruit samples. The walnut genotypes taken from the fruit sample were weighed separately in terms of crustacean and walnut. As a result of the weighing grades, 10 genotypes were selected. The selected genotypes were evaluated for UPOV criteria and fat ratio. Genotypes selected based on the average of two-year data the maximum fruit weight was 13.04 g 15TE.013 genotype, the maximum internal weight was 6.53 g 15.TE.077 genotype, the maximum efficiency is 65.09% 15.TE.077 genotype, the maximum shell thickness was 1.65 mm 15.TE.062 genotype was found. The fat ratios of selected genotypes were found between 62.29% (15TE.013) and 70.24% (15.TE.001). The total scores of UPOV criteria of selected genotypes were found 154 points at 15.TE.001, 130 points at 15.TE.002, 139 points at 15.TE.013, 142 points at 15.TE.014, 143 points in 15.TE.017, 139 points in 15.TE.018, 118 points in 15.TE.056, 131 points in 15.TE.062, 147 points in 15.TE.077 and 116 points in 15.TE.078. As a result, 15.TE.001, 15.TE.002, 15.TE.013, 15.TE.014, 15.TE.017, 15.TE.018, 15.TE.056, 15.TE.062, 15.TE.077 and 15.TE.078 were found to be remarkable and it is recommended to work on them.
