Bu çalışmada Aydın Germencik yöresine ait bazı jeotermal kaynakların emprenye maddelerinin incelenmesi, farklı derişimlerde emrenye edilen karaçam (Pinus nigra) odunlarının özelliklerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Deneylerde Aydın Germencik yöresine ait Germencik 3 Alangüllü ve Çamköy jeotermal suları kullanılmıştır. Labaratuvar ortamına getirilen üç farklı jeotermal kaynağa ait sular dört farklı (%0, %5, %10, %15) derişim değerlerine getirilmiştir. TSE standartlarına göre boyutlandırılmış örnekler farklı derişim değerlerindeki jeotermal sular ile daldırma metodu uygulanarak emprenye edilmiştir. Emprenye işlemi sonucu örnekler üzerinde absorpsiyon, yoğunluk, rutubet, radyal yönde genişleme, teğet yönde genişleme, hacimsel genişleme, radyal yönde daralma, teğet yönde daralma, hacimsel daralma, su alma oranı, eğilme direnci, eğilmede elastikiyet modülü, ve liflere paralel basınç direnci testleri yapılmıştır. Derişimi artırılan jeotermalin eğilme direnci, liflere parelel basma direnci, eğilmede elastikiyet modülü direncini düşürerek performans kaybına neden olduğu söylenebilir. Yoğunluk, rutubet, su alma, teğet yönde genişleme ve daralma değerleri, hacimsel genişleme ve daralma değerlerinde kontrol örneklerine göre azalma meydana gelmiş, radyal yönde genişleme ve daralmada artış meydana gelmiş olup önemli derece farklılık göstermemektedir. In this study, it is aimed to investigate the impregnation materials of some geothermal sources belonging to Aydin Germencik region and to investigate the characteristics of the Pinus nigra trees which are applied at different concentrations. Germencik 3 Alangüllü and Çamköy geothermal waters belonging to Aydin Germencik region were used in the experiments. The waters belonging to three different geothermal resources brought to the laboratory environment were brought to four different concentration values (0%, 5%, 10%, 15%). Samples dimensioned according to TSE standards were impregnated by applying the dipping method with geothermal waters at different concentration values. In the case of impregnation process, it is possible to determine absorption coefficient, density, moisture, radial expansion, tangential expansion, volumetric expansion, radial contraction, tangential contraction, , Flexural elastic modulus test, and parallel pressure test of the fibers. It can be said that the geothermal increased the concentration, the resistance to bending resistance, the resistance to bending parallel to the fibers, and the resistance to elasticity to bending decreased. Density, humidity, water intake, tangential expansion and contraction values, volumetric expansion and contraction values decreased with respect to the control samples, and the radial expansion and contraction increased and did not differ significantly.
