Orta yoğunluktaki lif levha (MDF) ürün piyasasında özellikle Çin, Endonezya gibi işçilik ücretlerinin, enerji ve hammadde maliyetlerinin düşük olduğu ülkeler ile yoğun rekabet sağlanabilmesi için maliyetlerin düşürülmesi gerekmektedir. Bu noktada daha ucuza temin edilemeyen kaynakların daha verimli kullanılarak maliyetin azaltılması düşünülmelidir. Bu çalışmada daha verimli üretim süreçleri uygulanması için bakım odaklı uygulamalar kullanılmıştır. Bu kapsamda verimliliğin geliştirilmesi üzerine uygulama bir MDF üretim işletmesinin liflendirme prosesinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Böylece sistemi daha verimli hale getirirken maliyet avantajı sağlanmıştır. Bu kapsamda çalışma Antalya'da orman ürünleri endüstrisi sektöründe hizmet veren yıllık 500.000 m³ üretim kapasitesine sahip bir entegre tesisisin liflendirme ünitesinde (rafinör) gerçekleştirilmiştir. Uygulama sürecinde segment ömrüne bağlı olarak azalan günlük segment maliyeti ile segment körelmesine bağlı artan günlük enerji tüketim maliyetleri analiz edilerek optimum segment ömrünün tespiti hedeflenmiştir. Enerji verimliliği açısından liflendirme ünitesindeki enerji tüketiminin istatistiksel proses kontrol (SPC) yöntemlerinden faydalanılarak takip edilmesi önerilmiştir. Bu tekniklerin kullanımı ile segment değişim zamanına daha doğru karar verebilmekte ve liflendiricideki olağan dışı güç tüketimine sebep olabilecek haller takip edilebilmektedir. Böylece olağan dışı durumların sebep olduğu segment körelmesini engellemek mümkün olabilecekdir. Çalışmada ayrıca farklı boyuttaki segmentler verimlilik açısından değerlendirilmiştir. 58'' ve 62'' lik segmentler arasında enerji tüketimi açısından anlamlı bir farklılık tespit edilemezken, kapasite olarak 62'' lik segmentte daha fazla miktarda lif üretimi gerçekleştiği tespit edilmiştir. In the medium density fibreboard (mdf) product market, costs should be reduced because of intensive competition with such countries as China, Indonesia where labor costs, energy and raw materials are cheap. In this case, it should be considered that resources that cannot be supplied at lower cost should be used efficiently to reduce the cost. In this study, the application of maintenance-oriented applications to implement more efficient production processes has used in a narrow scope in MDF production facility fiber spinning process. This makes the system more efficient while providing cost advantages. In this context, the study was carried out in the fiber-reinforced unit, which performs the fiber-finishing of an integrated plant with an annual production capacity of 500,000 m³, serving in the forest industry sector in Antalya In the implementation process, it is aimed to determine the optimum segment lifetime depending on the decreasing daily segment cost and the increasing daily energy consumption costs due to segment blunting. With respect to energy efficiency the energy consumption of the fiberizing unit was analyzed by using statistical process control (SPC) methods. Thus, it is possible to make decisions about the time of the segment change more accurately and to follow the reason of extraordinary power consumption in the fiber. In the study, segments at different sizes were evaluated in terms of productivity. While no significant difference in energy consumption could be detected between the 58'' and 62'' segments, it was determined that more fiber production occurs in the 62'' segment as capacity.
