Bu çalışmada, alternatif sulama sistemleri açısından örnek bir bahçe uygulaması çerçevesinde Isparta bölgesinin sulama suyu ihtiyacının belirlenerek karşılaştırılması amaçlandı. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, sulama sistemleri, sulamanın önemi ve sulamanın tarihçesi, daha sonra da Isparta'nın fiziki, coğrafi konumu incelendi. Isparta'da kullanılan sulama yöntemleri, su verimliliği ve su ihtiyacı açısından araştırıldı. Isparta'da, 2000 yılından sonra yaygınlaşan damla sulama yöntemi, tüm yönleriyle incelendi. En çok üretimi yapılan, elma da damla sulama yöntemi ve salma sulama yöntemleri karşılaştırılarak incelendi. Çalışma alanı olarak, Isparta'nın Eğirdir ilçesi Tepeli Köyü'nde 10 dekarlık bir arazi seçildi. Çalışma alanında mevsimlik bitki su ihtiyacı Blaney-Criddle metodu kullanılarak hesaplandı. Türkiye'de sulanan bitkilerin bitki su ihtiyacı rehberine de uyumlu olduğu görüldü. Örnek uygulama kapsamında, 2016 yılında 10 dekarlık arazide salma sulama ile Temmuz ayında 2700 m³su kullanıldığı, damla sulama ile 2052 m³su kullanıldığı, asıl ihtiyaç duyulan su miktarının ise 1720 m³olduğu tespit edildi. Çalışma alanında damla sulama ile %84 randımana ulaşılırken salma sulamada randıman %63 olarak bulundu. Örnek arazide damla sulama ile salma sulama yöntemleri maliyet açısından karşılaştırıldığında, salma sulama, damla sulamaya göre 1,62 katı daha maliyetli olduğu görülmüştür. Su kullanımı açısından değerlendirildiğinde, salma sulama yönteminde, damla sulama yöntemine göre 1,69 kat daha fazla su kullanıldığı sonucuna varılmıştır. In this study, it was aimed to determine Isparta's need for irrigation water in terms of alternative irrigation system. For this purpose, the irrigation systems, the history of the irrigation and irrigation of the irrigation, and the physical and geographical position of Isparta were examined. The irrigation methods used in Isparta are investigated in terms of water productivity and water need and the results are listed in tables. The method of drip irrigation that has been widely used in Isparta since 2000 was examined in all its aspects. Apple which is mostly produced, were examined by comparing the usefulness and efficiency of drip irrigation method. A land of 10 decares was selected in Isparta's Tepeli Village in Eğirdir District. Seasonal plant water requirement in the study area was calculated using the Blaney-Criddle method. It has also been observed that the plants that are watered in Turkey are also compatible with the guidelines for plant water requirements. Within the scope of the sample application, it was determined that in the year of 2016, 2700 m³ of water was used for 10 decare of land and 2052 m³ of water was used for drip irrigation, while 1720 m³ of water was actually needed. In the study area efficiency of 84% was achieved with drip irrigation while efficiency was 63% in flood irrigation. When drip irrigation and flood irrigation are compared based on cost on the sample field, it is seen that flood irrigation costs 1,62 times more than drip irrigation. Morever, flood irrigation uses 1,69 times more water than drip irrigation based on calculated crop-water requirements.
