Bu çalışma, Pseudotropheus Acei'nin diyetlerine ilave edilen zerdeçal tozunun büyüme performansı, renklenme ve üreme üzerine etkilerini belirlemek için oluşturulmuştur. Balıklar her grupta 1 erkek ve 4 dişi olacak şekilde 5 grup oluşturulmuş ve gruplar % 1, % 3, % 5 ve % 7 zerdeçal tozu ilaveli diyetlerle 90 gün boyunca beslenmiştir. Zerdeçal tozu ile beslenen P. acei diyetlerinde kontrol grubuna göre larvaların, deneme sonu ağırlık kazancı, SBO, YDO, yaşam oranı, döllenme oranı, yumurta verimi oranı, yumurta açılım oranı, yumurta çapı ve 7. gününde larva yaşam oranı arasında önemli bir fark yoktur (P˃0.05). Bununla birlikte, T7 grubunda diğer gruplara göre yumurtlayan anaç yüzdesi (% 60) önemliydi (p <0.05). Zerdeçal oranının artmasıyla yumurtlama sıklığının azaldığı görülmüştür. P. This study was conducted to determine the effect of turmeric powder supplementation to dietary on reproductive, pigmentation and growth performance of Pseudotropheus acei. Fishes were divided into 5 groups as 1 male and 4 female in each group and the groups were fed for 1 day, 3%, 5% and 7% for 90 days with turmeric powder supplemented diets. There were no significant differences between final weight, weight gain SGR, FCR survival rate, fertility rate, fecundity rate, hatching rate, egg diameter, and larvae survival rate in 7th day of P. acei fed diets supplemented with turmeric powder compared to the control (P˃0.05). However, per cent of the spawning brood stock (60%) in T7 group was significantly different from the others groups (p<0.05). The ovulation frequency decreased by increasing rates of turmeric rate.
