Bu çalışmada, güneş hücrelerinde soğurucu katman olarak kullanılan CIGS ince filmler cam alttaşlar üzerine aynı anda termal buharlaştırma metoduyla üretilmiştir. Farklı parametrelerde iki üretim yapılmış, birinci üretim sonucunda CuInSe2 (CIS), ikinci üretim sonucunda CuInGaSe2 (CIGS) soğurucu malzemeleri elde edilmiştir. CIS malzemesinin elde edildiği üretimde elde edilen ince filmler; herhangi bir işlem yapılmadan, vakum altında 400, 425, 450 ve 500 °C sıcaklıklarda tavlanarak ve 500 °C' de azot ortamında selenizasyona tabi tutularak karakterize edilmiştir. CIGS ince filmlerin elde edildiği üretimdeki numuneler; herhangi bir işlem yapılmadan ve vakum altında 300, 400 ve 500 °C sıcaklıklarda tavlanarak karakterize edilmiştir. Üretilen filmlerin XRD sistemi ile yapısal, SEM ve AFM sistemleri ile yüzey, EDS sistemi ile elementel, UV-Vis Spektrofotometresi ile optik ve van der Pauw ve hall etkisi analizleri ile oda sıcaklığında elektriksel özellikleri belirlenmiştir. Ga/(Ga+In) oranı %55 olan CIGS ince filmlerin özdirencinin 512 Ω.cm olduğu ve yasak band aralığının 1,22 eV olduğu belirlenmiştir. CIGS ince filmlerin SEM görüntülerinden oldukça homojen yüzeye sahip oldukları görülmüş, AFM sonuçlarından 24,38 nm ortalama pürüzlülüğe sahip olduğu tespit edilmiştir. XRD ölçümlerinin yarı kuantativ analizlerinden CIGS ince filmlerde maksimum kristal boyutunun 27,9 nm olduğu belirlenmiştir. Karakterizasyon sistemlerinden elde edilen sonuçlar yorumlanarak CIGS yarıiletken ince filmlerin üretim parametreleri belirlenmiş ve tekrarlanabilirliği başarıyla sağlanmıştır. In this study, CIGS thin films which are used as an absorbing layer in solar cells were produced by the thermal co-evaporation method on glass substrates. Two different fabrication processes were performed; CuInSe2 (CIS) and CuInGaSe2 (CIGS) absorbing materials were obtained as the first production result and the second production result, respectively. Thin films obtained in the production of CIS material were characterized for as-grown form, after annealing at 400, 425, 450 and 500 °C under vacuum and selenization under nitrogen atmosphere at 500 °C. Thin films obtained in the production of CIGS materials were characterized for as-grown form and annealing at 300, 400 and 500 °C under vacuum. The produced films were characterized at room temperature by XRD for structural, by SEM and AFM for surface, by EDS for elemental, by UV-Vis spectrophotometer for optical and by van der Pauw and Hall effect analyzes for their electrical properties. It was determined that the CIGS thin films with a Ga / (Ga + In) ratio of 55% had an intrinsic resistivity of 512 Ω.cm and a band gap of 1,22 eV. By comparing the SEM images, it was seen that CIGS thin films have a very homogeneous surface, and AFM results showed that the average roughness of the films was 24,38 nm. From the semi-quantitative analysis of XRD measurements it was determined that the maximum crystal size of CIGS thin films was 27,9 nm. Production parameters of CIGS semiconductor thin films were determined and reproducibility was successfully achieved by interpreting the results obtained from the characterization systems.
