Bu tezin amacı, STK'larda gönüllü yönetimi yaklaşımları bağlamında insan kaynaklarının rolünün, STK'ların misyonlarını gerçekleştirmedeki etkilerini araştırmaktır. Çalışmanın temel çıkış noktası, STK'ların misyonlarını insan kaynakları yönetimi çerçevesinde gönüllü yönetimi yaklaşımlanna bakış açılarını ve bu çerçevede gerçekleştirip gerçekleştirmediklerini ortaya koymaktır. Çalışmanın kuramsal çerçevesinde; İlk olarak Dünya ve Türkiye'de sivil toplum ve STK'ların kavramsal boyutu ve tarihsel gelişimi; ikinci olarak STK'larda yönetim ve organizasyon boyutu; üçüncü olarak STK'larda gönüllülük ve gönüllülük yönetimi; son olarak da STK misyonları sınıflandırılarak incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın uygulamaya yönelik çerçevesinde ise; kuramsal boyuta uygun bir çerçevede bir anket formu hazırlanmış ve İzmir ilindeki STK'larda uygulanmıştır. 365 bireye uygulanan anket verilerine yönelik olarak SPSS yazılımı kullanılarak istatistiksel analizler yapılmıştır. Bu bağlamda, temel olarak tanımlayıcı istatistikler, faktör analizi, tek yönlü varyans analizi, Kruskal Wallis H Testi, Student T Testi, Mann-Whithey U Test'leri kullanılmıştır. Faktör analizi sonucu 32 soruluk ölçek, yedi temel faktörden oluşan 28 soruluk bir ölçeğe dönüşmüştür. Ortaya çıkan yedi faktör ve içerdikleri ölçek soruları bağımlı değişken; anketi cevaplayan bireylerin yaş, cinsiyet, medeni durum, eğitim durumu; yer aldıkları STK'nın türü, misyonu, kuruluş yılı, üye sayısı ve görev alanı soruları bağımsız değişken kabul edilmiştir. İstatistiksel analizler bu çerçevede gerçekleştirilmiştir. İstatistiksel analiz sonuçlarına göre ankete katılan STK'ların insan kaynakları çerçevesinde gönüllü yönetimi yaklaşımlanna bakış açılarının büyük oranda teorik alt yapıyı desteklediği belirlenmiştir. Ancak katılımcılar kapsamında, STK'larda insan kaynakları çerçevesinde gönüllü yönetimi yaklaşımlannın şu an için uygulamada istenen düzeyde olmamakla birlikte gelecekte daha iyi bir boyutta olacağı gözlemlenmiştir. The purpose of this thesis is to study the effects of the role of human sources in carrying out the missions of NGOs in terms of the voluntary management approaches. The basic starting point of the study is to clarify the missions of NGOs and the views related to the voluntary management approaches within the human sources management. In the theoretical point of the study, firstly, the conceptual point and historical development of NGOs and civil society in the world and in Turkey; secondly the level of management and organization in NGOs; thirdly the voluntary and management of voluntary, and lastly by classifying, the missions of NGOs was studied. In terms of the study aming at application, on the other hand, a questionnaire form was prepared in accordance with theoretical point and applied in NGOs of Izmir. According to the data of questionnaire applied on 365 individuals, statistical analysis were made by using SPSS software. At this point, basically defining statisticals, Factor Analysis, One way Analysis of Variance, Test of Kruskal Wallis H, Test of Student T, and Test of Mann-Whitney U were used. As a result of the factor analysis, the scale with 32 questions turned into a scale with 28 questions formed of 7 basic factors. The 7 factors which were found out and the scale questions that they contain were accepted as factor variable and the age, sex, marital and educational status of the attendants in the questionaire, and the questions about their type of NGOs, its mission, foundation date, number of members, mission area were considered as factor independent. The statistical analysis were made in this frame. According to the results of the statistical analysis, it was determined that the views of NGOs in the questionaire regarding the voluntary management approaches supported the theorical infrastructure on a large scale. However, on the part of the attendants it was observed that the voluntary management approaches in NGOs in the frame of human sources are not at the desired level in practice now, but it will be at a better level in the future.
