Bu çalışmanın amacı, İktisadi İdari Bilimler Fakültesi İşletme bölümü son sınıf öğrencilerinin mezuniyet sonrası kariyerlerini belirlerken hangi faktörlerden ne ölçüde etkilendiklerini belirlemek ve üniversitelere göre farklılaşmalarını değerlendirmektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda konuyla ilgili literatürden araştırmanın teorik kısmı hazırlanmıştır. Çalışmanın araştırma bölümü için, araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan anket Türkiye'de eğitim veren İktisadi İdari Bilimler Fakültelerinden üç kamu, üç vakıf üniversitesinin 328 öğrencisine uygulanmıştır. Anket sonucu elde edilen bilgilerin çözümlenmesi SPSS 15 paket programında bilgisayar ortamında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Tanımlayıcı özelliklerin özetlenmesinde frekans ve yüzde istatistikleri, öğrencilerin kariyer planlamasına etki eden faktörlerin önem derecelerinin belirlenmesinde aritmetik ortalama ve standart sapma istatistikleri kullanılmıştır. Söz konusu faktörlerin tanımlayıcı özelliklere göre farklılaşma durumu ise t-testi ve varyans analizi yöntemleri kullanılarak, öğrencilerini yetiştirme hedefleri ile bu hedefleri karşılama dereceleri arasındaki ilişki Ki-Kare testi yardımıyla sınanmış, her iki değişken arasındaki ilişki karşılaştırmalı olarak verebilmek için sonuçlar çapraz tablo yardımıyla sunulmuştur. İstatistiksel olarak anlamlı olduğu belirlenen ilişkilere ait ortalama değerler verilerek sonuçlar istatistiksel olarak yorumlanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda; Kişisel Özellikler ve Yetenekler, Ekonomik Faktörler ve Mesleğin Saygınlığının öğrencilerin kariyerlerinin temel belirleyicileri olduğu ve bu değişkenleri; Güncel Gelişmelerin takip ettiği ortaya konulmuştur. The purpose of this study is to determine that which factors affect the senior students of Business Administration Department of Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences while planning their career and at what degree, and to evaluate the differences according to the universities. For this purpose, the theoretical part of the research has been prepared from the related literature. For the research part of the study, the questionnaire prepared by the researcher is applied to 328 students from the Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences of the three state and three private universities that gives education in Turkey. The analysis of the information received as a result of the questionnaire has been made with SPSS 15 package program in a computer environment. Frequency and percentage statistics have been used for summarising the descriptive features, and arithmetic average and standard deviation have been used for determination of the level of significance that affects career planning of the students. For the differentiation status of the stated factors according to the descriptive features, the relationship between the education objectives for their students and the levels to meet these objectives is tested with the help of chi-square test by using t-test and variant analysis methods and the results are presented with the help of cross table in order to give the relationship between both two variants comparatively. The results are interpreted statistically by giving the average values of the relations which are determined to be meaningful statistically. As a result of the study; it has been revealed that the Personal Characteristics and Abilities, Economic Factors and Dignity of the Job are the main determinants for the careers of the students and these variants are followed by the Current Developments.
