Bu tezin amacı; Kınalızade Ali Çelebi'nin en önemli eseri olan Ahlak-ı Alai'deki eğitimle ilgili görüşlerini ortaya çıkararak bir eğitim sistematiği içerisinde incelemek ve değerlendirmesini yapmaktır. Çalışmanın temel çıkış noktası, 445 yıl önce yazılmış (M. 1565) bir eser olmasına rağmen içeriğinde eğitim-öğretim açısından günümüzde güncelliğini koruyan ilginç ve önemli görüşlerin bulunmuş olmasıdır. Bu görüşlerin eğitim felsefesi açısından değerlendirilmesi gereği bizi bu konuya yöneltmiştir. Tarihi bir çalışma olmasından dolayı ulaşılabilen bilgi ve belgeler, her türlü kaynaklar ile süreli yayın ve arşiv tarama tekniği, karşılaştırma yöntemi uygulanarak değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmanın bulguları; ilk olarak, Kınalızade Ali Çelebi, Osmanlı İmparatorluğunun en görkemli döneminde, çok önemli şahsiyetlerle aynı dönemde yaşamış, müderrislik kadılık ve kazaskerlik gibi idari ve ilmi üst seviyelerde görev yapmış, yaşadığı asrın geleneksel kalıplarının dışına çıkmayı başarabilmiş çok yönlü mümtaz şahsiyetlerden biridir. İkinci olarak, Ahlak-ı Alai; Ahlak-ı _asıri ve Ahlak-ı Celali çizgisinde bugüne kadar yazılmış, ilk ve son mükemmel Türkçe ahlak kitabıdır. Üçüncü olarak, insanların ve toplumların mutluluğu eğitimle sağlanır. Eğitim felsefesinin değişik tarifleri ve sorunları vardır. Ancak tüm tariflerdeki ortak nokta insanın eğitilmesidir. Sorunların çözümü imkansız değildir. Dördüncü olarak, kişinin eğitimi için peygamberlere, rehberlere, filozoflara, anne-babaya, eğitimcilere ve öğretmenlere ihtiyaç vardır. İlim ile amel birleştirilmeden gelişme ve mükemmellik mümkün değildir. Beşinci olarak, eğitilmiş fert, eğitimli aile, adil yönetim, adil paylaşım, dayanışma ve yardımlaşma toplum düzenini sağlayan en önemli etkenlerdir. Sonuç olarak, geleneksel eğitim anlayışının hakim olduğu bir dönemde yaşayan Kınalızade Ali Çelebi, eğitimin önemi ve gerekliliği konusundaki görüşleri ile büyük oranda modern eğitim anlayışına yakın bir ilim adamı olarak kabul edilebilir. The purpose of this study is to bring forward the views of Kinalizade Ali Celebi pertaining to educational philosophy, which he has discussed in his most important piece titled Ahlak-i Alai and examine and evaluate his views in an educational system. The point of this research arises from the fact that even though this piece of work was written 445 years ago (AD. 1565) it still holds up to date views of today's educational system. The need to evaluate these views in the light of educational philosophy has pushed this study forward. The fact that this is a historical piece of work, every piece of literature reached upon periodical publications, archives and every bit of information has been evaluated by the comparison method. The study's primary findings consists of Kinalizade Ali Celebi, an eminent figure of his time, who has lived in the most sublime period of the Ottoman Empire along with the foremost individuals of the era and has served in the upper levels of executive and academic positions and has produced countless pieces of exemplary literature. Secondly, it's Ahlak-i Alai; until now the first and last written of an excellent moral book inspired by Ahlak-i _asiri and Ahlak-i Celali. Thirdly, the happiness of societies and humans is achieved through education. The philosophy of education has different and problematic definitions. But the common point in all definitions is the education of people. The problems are not impossible to solve. Fourthly, a person needs prophets, mentors, philosophers, parents, educators and teachers in order to be educated. However without combining science and deed it is impossible to excel and become excellent. Fifthly, an educated being is the vital building stone of an educated family, just management, just communion and cooperation. Lastly, living in an era with the widespread acceptance of classical education but being able to foresee educational philosophies which are still up to date lifts Kinalizade Ali Celebi to a modern scholar of education.
