Günümüzün artan rekabet ortamında, maliyetleri kontrol altında tutmak ve rakiplerine göre maliyet rekabeti avantajını elde edebilmek için işletmeler, yeni arayışlar içine girmişlerdir. İşletmelerin tepkiselliğini arttırmak ve ortaya çıkan yeni durumlar karsısında karar verme mekanizmalarını hızlandırabilmek için işletmeler maliyet yönetim sistemleri en etkin bir şekilde kullanabilmelidirler. Günümüzün maliyet yönetim sistemlerinden biri olan standart maliyet sistemi, dünyada oldukça yaygın bir şekilde kullanılagelmektedir. Ülkemizde ise kendine fazla bir uygulama alanı bulamamıştır. Çalışmada işletmelerin planlama ve kontrol amaçlarına hizmet eden standart maliyet sistemini ve maliyet standartlarını belirlemede regresyon tekniğini kullanarak, maliyet yönetim sistemini en etkin ve verimli bir şekilde kullanmak amaçlanmıştır. Together with the increasing competition as a result of globalisation, enterprises have commenced modern quests in order to keep the costs under control and to take part in cost reduction as much as possible. Enterprises have to use management accounting systems as efficient as possible in order to icrease the enterprises' reactionalism and to make decisions about newly arisen situations. Standard costing as todays one of cost management system had been used widely in the world. But this system has lack of application in our country. The aim of this study is to use cost management system in most efficient and effective manner by standart costing system which serves to the planning and control objectives of the enterprises and using regression analysis in setting the standards.
