İş yaşamını oluşturan en önemli kavramlar işçi ve işverenlerdir. Bir işyerinde işçi ve işveren arasındaki ilişki , işe alma süreci ile başlar ve işten ayrılma ya da çıkarılmayla son bulur. İşçinin işini kaybetmesi çıkarılma yoluyla gerçekleşiyorsa işten çıkarmanın haklı bir nedene dayandırılması ve bu nedenin işveren tarafında açıkça ortaya konulması gerekmektedir. Bu çalışma işverenlerin işten çıkarma davranışlarının nedenlerini araştırmak amacı ile yapılmıştır. İşten çıkarma nedenleri işçi ve işverenden kaynaklanan nedenler ile genel ekonomik nedenler olarak ele alınmıştır. Araştırma Isparta ili örneği kapsamında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın evrenini Isparta Ticaret Odası'nın aktif üyeleri içerisinde yer alan hizmet ve üretim sektörü işverenleri oluşturmaktadır. Örneklemi ise evren içerisinden 198 hizmet ve 135 üretim sektöründen olmak üzere toplam 333 işveren oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak literatür taraması sonucunda araştırmacı tarafından oluşturulan 53 soruluk 5'li likert tipteki anket kullanılmıştır. Verilerin çözümlenmesi için SPSS 15.0 paket programı kullanılmıştır. Ortalama, standart sapma ve ki kare istatistik yöntemleri ile veriler analiz edilmiştir. Analizler sonucunda işverenlerin işten çıkarma davranışlarını etkileyen faktörler belirlenmiştir. Sonuçlara göre; işverenlerin kurallarına uyma, ahlak ve iyi niyet konularına çok önem verdikleri ortaya çıkmıştır. İşverenler; işçinin ahlak dışı davranışları, rüşvet alması, iyi niyeti suistimal etmesi , hırsızlık yapması, iş saatlerinde alkol alması, zimmetine para geçirmesi, firma sırlarını rakiplere vermesi durumlarında kesinlikle işten çıkartacaklarını belirtmişlerdir . Ayrıca işçinin, işverenin malına zarar vermesi ve çalması durumunda da kesinlikle işten çıkartacaklarını belirtmişlerdir. Bunların yanı sıra işçinin çeşitli olumsuz davranışlarının da işverenleri işten çıkarmaya ittiği saptanmıştır. İşverenlerin cinsiyetlerine, yaşlarına, eğitim düzeylerine, sektörlerine, işyerindeki yetki durumlarına ve sektördeki tecrübelerine göre bazı işten çıkarma nedenlerinde anlamlı farklılıklar belirlenmiştir. Örneğin; erkek işverenlerin yalan söyleme davranışlarında, ileri yaş gruplarının ahlak dışı davranışlarda işten çıkarmaya daha eğilimli oldukları belirlenmiştir. Zimmete para geçirme durumunda ise demografik değişkenlerin genelinde farklılık görüldüğü ortaya çıkmıştır. The relationship between the two starts with recruitment and ends when the employee has left the job or has been dismissed.If the employee has been dismissed, this isto be based upon a justified reason while the relevant reason is to be explicitly explained to the employee by the employer. Thisstudy has been conducted in order to examine the reasons for employers. dismissal behaviors. These reasons have been identified as reasons that arise out of employees or employers and general economical reasons. Thestudy has been conducted within the district of Isparta, Turkey. The population of thestudy involves the service and prod uction sector employers who take an active role in Isparta Chamber of Commerce and Industry while the sample group involves 333 employers in total (198 service and 135 productionsector employers). In order to collect data, a 5 point likert type of questio nnaire of 53 questions generated by the researcher through a literature review has been applied. In order to analyze the data SPSS 15.0 packaged software has been used. The data has been analyzed via average, standard deviation and chi square test methods. The factors affecting the dismissal behaviors of theemployers have been identified in consequence of the analysis. The results of the study indicate that the employers pay great importance to observance of the rules, morality and goodwill. Employers has stated that for following situations they will definitely dismiss the employee: employees. unethical behaviors, bribery, misuse of goodwill, stealing, drinking alcohol during working hours, embezzlement, revealing the confidential information of the firm to others. Moreover, they have also stated that if the employee damages the goods of the employer or steals something he /she will definitely be dismissed. Besides, some unfavorable behaviors of the employee shall force the employer to dismiss the employee. Meaningful differences have been identified among the reasons for dismissal when the gender, age, education level, sector, the position in the firm and experience in the sector of the employers have been taken into consideration. For example, male employers are likely to bedismissed in case of lying or falsehood andelder employers in case of commitment of unethical behaviors.
