En genel amacı kar elde etmek olan ve ömürlerinin sınırsız olduğu kabul edilen işletmelerin, faaliyet gösterdiği alanlardaki koşullar, çeşitli nedenler ve serbest piyasa ekonomisi koşulları gereği artan rekabetten dolayı giderek zorlaşmaktadır. Bu koşullara uyabilen işletmeler varlıklarını sürdürerek başarıyı yakalamakta; bu koşullar karşısında uyum problemi yaşayan işletmelerse, problemlerini çözemediği takdirde, finansal başarısızlığın son aşamaları olan iflas ya da tasfiye durumları ile karşı karşıya gelmektedirler. Bu durum; hem işletme dolayısıyla ülke hem de dünya ekonomisi için olumsuz bir durum yaratmaktadır ve finansal başarısızlığa uğramış işletmelerin varlığı, ekonomilerindeki kıt kaynakların iyi değerlendirilemediğinin göstergesi olup bu da çeşitli makro problemlere neden olmaktadır. Bu sebeplerden dolayı; finansal başarısızlık hem mikro hem makro anlamda önemli bir konudur. Finansal başarısızlığın ekonomide olumsuz bir duruma yol açmasına engel olabilmek için,işletmelerin finansal başarısızlığına neden olan işletme içi ve dışı nedenlerinin incelenmesi gerekmektedir. Bu çalışma; başarılı ve başarısız işletmelerin finansal oranları arasında farklılık olup olmadığının tespit edilmesini içermektedir. Ayrıca, işletmelerin durumlarını düzeltmek için hangi önlemleri almaları gerektiği konusunda da bilgi verilmektedir. The conditions of the fields, in which the businesses, of which the most general aimis to a chieve profit and lives are known as unlimited, operate, are increasingly getting difficult because of various reasons and the increasing challenge of the necessityof free market economy. While the businesses which get along with these conditiones are able to gain success, the ones which can not get along with these conditions, in case of they could not solve their problems,they come across with bankruptcy and liquidation affairs which are the last steps of financial failure. This situation creates a negative status forth a world economy as wellas the country's just because of the business. The presence of the businesses which experince financial failure indicatesth at the poorre sources in the economy are not used well and this causes inflation. Because of these reasons, financial failure is important term in macroeconomy as well as the micro. In order to prevent the financial failure cause a negative status in economy, theiner and outer reasons of businesses which cause financial failure are needed to be observed. This work includes to determinewhether differences exist (or not) between successful and unsuccessful businesses.s financial ratios. In the result of this research,it is informed that what measures shouldbe taken in order to correct the statusof the business.
