Bu çalışma; Üniversite personelin stratejik planlamayı katılımcılık ve gelişim boyutuyla nasıl algılayarak değerlendirdiklerini, Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi akademik personeli özelinde belirlemek amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Ayrıca akademik personelin stratejik planlama algılarının tanımlayıcı özelliklerine göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığı da incelemek araştırmanın diğer amacını oluşturmaktadır. Amaç doğrultusunda hazırlanan anket formu; 2011-2012 kış eğitim döneminde Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesine bağlı, akademik birimlerde görev yapan 241 üniversite personeline uygulanmıştır. Anketlerden elde edilen veriler bilgisayar ortamında SPSS 17.0 istatistik paket programı aracılığıyla çözümlenmiştir. Araştırmaya katılan Üniversite Personelinin tanımlayıcı özelliklerinin belirlenmesinde frekans ve yüzde tanımlayıcı istatistiklerinden, stratejik planlama algılarının belirlenmesinde ortalama, standart sapma istatistiklerinden faydalanılmıştır. Üniversite Personelinin tanımlayıcı özelliklerine göre stratejik planlama algılarının farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığının belirlenmesinde ise t testi, tukey testi ve tek yönlü anavo testlerinden faydalanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda; Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi personelinin stratejik planlama algılarının yüksek olduğu, ancak stratejik planlamaya dair kafalarında bazı karışıklıkların olduğu, bir yandan 'Stratejik planlama kurumun iş başarısını artırır' görüşünde iken, diğer taraftan 'Stratejik planlama bir hayal ürünüdür.' düşüncesinde oldukları, bu sonuçların stratejik planlama konusunda Üniversite Personelinin stratejik planlamayı tam olarak algılayamadıkları için bir kafa karışıklığı yaşadıklarının göstergesi olarak değerlendirilmiştir.
This Study has been conducted to determine the case of Suleyman Demirel University academic staff‟s how to evaluate the strategic planning, participation and development dimension. Furthermore, differed according to the descriptive characteristics of the academic staff perceptions of the strategic planning of research constitutes the other aim of the study.A questionnaire prepared by the direction of aim, has been applied to the University staff serving, 2011-2012 winter training period, at Süleyman Demirel University affiliate, academic units. Surveys data obtained through the program package SPSS statistics 17.0 analyzed in computer environment.It has been utilized percent of the identifying features of the academic staff involved in research in determining the frequency and descriptive statistics, strategic planning to determine the perceptions mean, standard deviation statistics. Differed according to the descriptive characteristics of academic staff in determining perceptions of strategic planning, t test, Tukey test and one way Anova tests is utilized.As a result of the research; Süleyman Demirel University academic staff perceptions of strategic planning are high, but the heads of strategic planning are some of the confusion on the other hand, while "Strategic planning improves the organization's business success," the opinion that, On the other hand, they have the opinion "Strategic planning is a product of the imagination.", strategic planning for academic staff in the strategic planning of these results to perceive fully is evaluated as an indicator of a confusion of their experiences.
